60-75, depends if i can pick up extra shifts or not
Maybe in Canada, most jobs in the US pay minimum wage. Some states don't even have a federal mandated minimum wage and pay around $5.25 an hour for fast food jobs. Of course skilled job usually pay more, but not much more then minimum wage.
I have a guaranteed 40 hours a week, but my job currently has unlimited overtime for my position, so I normally end the week around 55-60 hours.
I don't work yet. I'm busy spending my 19th year derping and relaxing until I get really bored or the folks bug me.
Plan on working really soon, just one job so I'm guessing 8 hours (9-5) because all I need to do is chip in on a few bills to keep the folks happy. Way better than working two jobs and paying off a mortgage/college debt.
I thought it was 7.25/hr for federal minimal wage. Also your avatar looks so cool.
I wait tables. I usually work aorund 25-30 hours a week. It can vary depending on business down to 20ish up to 35+
Does schooling count? It should count as its work.
Without school, 20-30 hours a week.
With school, 40-50 hours a week.
When I first started my current business, about 110 hours per week. Once I got things in place, about 80. Now that I found the right people to delegate some responsibilities, between 40-60 depending on the week. So, voted 40-50.
25 scheduled, 40 so far each week. Owner of the store with four employees has problems actually showing up the one night he's supposed to work.

Nothing wrong with not working while in school, assuming it's a kid still living with his parents. Not having the job gives them more time to focus on the school itself (since in the US it costs a shit ton of money, getting the most out of it makes the most sense).
I was working around 54 a week but I left 2 jobs to take one that's 32 hours a week and I make more then the other two put together. I am so much happier now.
When I was at University, we had to take 12 credit hours to be considered "full time" students. 12 credit hours had the expectation of 12 class hours per week, plus 3-4 out of class hours per credit hour. So that would be an expectation of 48 school-devoted hours per week, minimum, to maintain full time student status.
You had to take 15 credit hours to graduate in 4 years in most programs.
This is part of why so many US students fall into crippling debt, but that's another topic completely.
About 50 hours per week. There is usually a lot more overtime if I want it, but I tend to pass it up so others that need it can have it. Besides, I can only take so much of the railroad tracks before I get sick of it.
contractually - 37 hours a week
reality - a fraction of that amount

I wonder... People who work 60h+ a week, when do you live your lives, exactly? Or is the grand plan to make money now, and live some economically rich life later?
