    Case bolts

I recently asked for help here building a custom PC and I asked if the case presented to me came with bolts or if I'd need to buy anything like tools or screws in order to build it. I was told I wouldn't need to order anything but the list of parts, that they came with bolts/screws and all I needed would be a phillips screwdriver. However, I'm about to purchase the case in a few days and I recently became worried it wouldn't come with the bolts I was told it would that you use to attach the motherboard to the case. So, I did some research and saw people unpackage the case on youtube and there was nothing in the box but the case itself. There is no info on Newegg under the case that states it comes with bolts.

    This is the motherboard: https://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-h97me35

    This is the case: https://pcpartpicker.com/part/nzxt-case-cah230ib1

This is the entire build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/silverforte/saved/

What do I need to buy to attach the MB to the case? I studied how to do it and it appears as though I need some round gold bolts and screws to attach the MB to it, but since they don't come with it, I'm hoping to get some professional insight and be directed to exactly what I need to buy.

What videos are you watching? These were the first and second that came up for me, the first one shows the bags full of stuff in the first 30 seconds, the second one shows them 5 minutes in.

What it comes with is something like these in the bags.

no case manufacturer worth their time would ever ship a case without motherboard standoffs. 99/100 times the extra shit is ziptied in a box or bag inside the case to save on shipping box size.

Thanks, I'm just being paranoid I guess. It's just a lot of money for the entire system and I'm trying to be as careful as possible even though other people think I'm acting like a lunatic. Appreciate your feedback. I saw some guy unpackage the case but, now that I think about it, it looked pre-opened. he probably took that stuff out.

Most likely just a video showing the actual case and nothing else. Don't worry about it, everything you need will be in there. If you ever have any doubt about anything, you can contact the manufacturer and ask them.

Nothing wrong with being cautious. But remember, if you're taking this much time to even order, it probably won't hurt you too much if you need to wait a few more days in case you missed something.

Free tip: make sure you ONLY use these spacing things in places where the motherboard has holes for them. Most cases have a lot of spots where you can insert them (for the different form factors of motherboards), but if you put them in the wrong place you can short circuit your motherboard. I know this from experience :P

out of the 70+ cases in the last 15 years I have bought for peoples builds, not one has ever come without all the parts needed to mount the motherboard, secure the drives and add in cards. Usually it is in a box or bag within the case.
