My advice would be to apologise to your parents and ask them for help. Judging by their reaction they likely care very deeply for you and feel hurt by what you've done - so rather than ignoring scientific evidence that shows the dangerous and negative effects of steroids I'd strongly recommend that you eliminate your reliance on them as soon as possible.

That's a misconception about buff men. Their size increases due to bigger muscles but the penis remains the same size, ofcourse, and it gives the impression that is small because it's smaller indeed compared to your buff mass but not compared to the size of a normal one.

Self medicating with steroids, and you think you've got everything down pat?

Is a gym membership out of the question, or something? Unless you've a legitimate medical reason for it, in which case your parents would know about it, I see no reason to use steroids. Honestly.

Oh, and your parents probably thought that they were hard drugs if all they found were needles. So they're likely convinced you're a meth addict.

Dude, you're 24 and you still live with your parents.

You think you've got your shit together, but that statement stands on its own.

If used properly, steroids are safe, it's when people who don't know how to use them take wayyyyy too much and get bad side effects.
I finished my cycle about 5 months ago, whilst on i didn't recive any side effects (Balding, Acne, Aggression, etc.) the only thing that happened was testicular atrophy and they go back to normal after the posty cycle therapy.

Judging by peoples responses on here i think my parents will be pissed :P
    So, what's the problem?

If it's so safe to use, then convincing them that you (an educated person) know what you are doing shouldn't be an issue.

    Assuming it's testosterone you're taking.

Tell them you're a dealer. They'll be less disappointed.

Maybe you should post pictures of your body so we can determine if steroids were worth it for you :P

Aren't those what they call eunuchs? And besides, eunuchs would probably never run into that type of situation.

I had a "friend" stay over at my house one night for a "sleepover". My "friend" left in the morning for work and I went downstairs to eat breakfast not really thinking only to see some really horrified expressions on my parents faces. They told me to go upstairs and shower, not fully understanding what the deal was I went upstairs and only understood their horror upon looking in the mirror. My black shirt was covered in... stains... of the sexual variety, and quite a bit was also dried in my hair creating a sort of shiny glossy look.

It was quite the way to leave the closet. The point here is that if I could survive that and still manage to have my parents look me in the eyes without it being awkward then you'll be perfectly fine.

Like I said, grats on the raisins. Seek help, go to a doctor and get that fake body of yours examined. That's probably what your parents are going to make you do anyway. Then tell your dealer your parents found out about it and you can't buy anymore.

Probably the most boring 'parents found stuff in my room' story ever. This one time when I got home from work, my parents had found the photo shopped images of them on various porn pictures. I walked into my room to find them recreating the pictures on my bed. Now that's a story.

5 month cycle? where did you get that from? I was on for 12 weeks, my PCT was 3 weeks.
I'ts now been a few months and everything is back to normal except i'm in better shape and stronger.
I've also had bloods done last month that showed everything was fine.

Well they shrink because they stop producing testosterone, since there is another source coming into the body.

To be honest, I never understood why people take steroids or any performance enhancing drugs in sport in the first place.

I think it is lazy, it seems like you don't want to work for it. How are you even supposed to feel great about your musculature or winning a competition when you know it wasn't actually you. Is it even worth the gamble? To win one competition while risking your entire career? Or, if you are a personal trainer in gym. How is your client supposed to be inspired by you when you secretly take steroids? In my opinion, it is you who loses the most. You are lying to yourself and everybody around you.

I just don't know, I didn't want to judge you OP as I don't you and your family background. All you can do is to talk with your parents, explain why you decided to do it. You probably have your own reasons. There is no other way.

well since everyone is shitting on you, I might as well be the person to post some advice since that's why i assume you posted

    1) you're 24, and they are adults, approach this like an adult. You've said you have done ample research on steroid use, show them, explain to them what your body went through.

    2) explain to them your plans. Are you still using it? If not, do you plan on doing it again in the future?

    3) don't go in to this expecting that you're not going to be met with repercussions. At the end of the day, "PARENTS JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND" doesn't really cut it when you're 24 and living in their home. if they don't want you using steroids and tell you to leave then that's that. Don't burn a bridge. Instead say, I understand can i please have x amount of time to find a place to live, in the mean time, I'll remove all the steroid w\es and wont use.

The fact that they weren't waiting for you at the door makes me think that, even though they might not be happy you using steroids, they respect your judgement enough not to flip shit right then and there. BUT they are your parents, and when it is regarding their childs health they probably definitely want to know what the deal is.
