well in a way yes, but not really the same. theres tons of different enchants, which lends to more variety (in theory). i remember long ago wanting to have something like lifestealing enchant. then again, i also liked the Black Grasp of the Destroyer armor too. even if it was pretty weak even back then, i thought it was more interesting.

Yeah, there's tons of enchants.... But.. TBH there's only, typically, one true end-game viable enchant for each class... so in that sense, scopes have always been on par.

yes i agree, but i was thinking more fun factor or 'flavor' that i think blizz was harping on a while back. to me scopes never were on par with those two things in mind.
