    Well I know myself and have a few friends doing the same with OS/programs on a partition by itself and other things ordered the way they/I want. So partitions are not a thing of the past, it's possible it is for you and that's great for you, cheers.

    Not only that, but as SSD's get larger and larger, HDD will start to go the way of the Dodo, unless they start becoming increasingly larger, which appears to be harder and harder to do.
