I getting close to finishing Metro 2033 and I found that I really liked the post apocalyptic theme.
Do you guys have any recommendations for other post apocalyptic books? Extra points if they're creepy or unnerving.

The Passage and The Twelve by Justin Cronin (Books 1 and 2 of a planned Trilogy. "City of Mirrors" should be coming soon).
I'll second The Road.
I enjoyed The Postman by David Brin. (I enjoyed the watered down movie too... Tastes vary.
