    Do you enjoy doing 2s?

Personally I always queue up double dps unless someones healer needs cap. I like twos because sometimes they provide that quick fix of popping all your cds and blowing someone up in the opener, but like many, I've also become victim to this. Then there are the games of going against a OP dps class (trying to avoid singling classes out) which simply don't make the games fun at all. Do you enjoy playing 2s? Do you do it in your spare time when you have no third to play with? Or do you avoid it all together?

    Depends.

"I need to cap this toon" 2s? No.
High rated fury warr 2s? Only if we don't queue into mages.

    Nope....

2s is garbage, if you get high enough rating, it's only healer comp and mage/rogue that is viable, and most games is +30 min.

I only like it because my wife and I can queue together and not have to use voice chat with another person. I find the older I get the less I want to talk to 99% of the wow population.

Only if I need to cap or test something, and even then I prefer gouging my eyes out.

2s are only fun in small amounts. like the guy above said, capping points with trillions of 2v2 really sucks ass.

Hate it if I'm capping an alt but don't mind it if I'm playing a semi-good comp with full gear and actually playing at semi high ratings.. and even then it can still be tedious.

There is absolutely no such thing as a 30 min 2s game anymore. There is an imposed time limit that falls well below 30 minutes. I love it when people post garbage and have no idea what they are even talking about.

    tl'dr: absolutely not.

i despise the whole arena-concept in every kind of MMO. small-scale team-deathmatch with three major aspects (1. pillar-hugging, 2. cc-chains, 3. one-shot-macros) doesn't cut it for me. i'd love to see more large-scale battles, sieges perhaps or something of the kind. i'm having some hopes for ashran, but looking back at WoW's PvP evolution I guess I'll be stuck with BGs.

2v2-s are very fun and quick games if you play a viable combo.

There are many viable comps that make for enjoyable games. For example:

    Double dps for burst: rogue/mage
Double dps with two hybrid healers: shadow priest/balance druid
Double dps dotcleave: balance druid/affliction warlock
    Healer/dps with crowd control: hunter/druid, mage/priest

All these teams require a certain amount of finesse and teamwork for good results.

You only get long boring games if you don't use any strategy and just pull your dps rotation for 20 minutes until healing debuff becomes too great and someone dies.

P.S. Oh and by the way, if you are stuck and losing at below 2200 rating in 2s, then the problem is not in your class, your comp or the arena format. At below 2200 rating the problem is you.

Disagree with both parts of this.

Firstly, no matter how skilled you are as 2 players - right now it is EXTREMELY difficult (if not impossible) to kill a Healer/DPS who are playing defensively as another Healer/DPS. You could be the best players in the world, but if people who are anywhere near your level play completely defensively then you won't be able to kill. It's why we needed dampening in the first place - people stalling the game to 30 minutes, then stalling it to "The Crowd Choose You". People are easily capable of surviving forever.

For your second point, there IS certain comps that straight up don't work. If you're a 2500 Hunter in KFC, you probably aren't able to play your Combat Rogue in Rogue/Ret/Hpala above 2200. It's even more obvious in 2s with non-meta comps. It's very difficult unless you're playing a tier 1 or tier 2 comp in 2s to get high ratings. Although, this may not be as applicable this season because rating is pretty inflated. But you get my point.

Don't know if you've even played the game for what, 2 years? Getting 2200 rating in 2's is very challenging now, you can start facing gladiators at 1900-2000 (I've even had a few at 1800). Spot healing an instants are also so damn strong atm that you can get an enemy down to 10% for them to go lol nope and fly back to over 80%. Also, you can outplay your opponents massively and still lose just because of your/their comp.

    Pretty much.

Fun for an occasional muck-about, but if I get too committed it doesn't take too long before my enjoyment turns to rage and regret.

Eh, if i am doing it on my ret it is only fun with a healer, and even then it can be painful, tho i find it fun to faceroll with mage and hunter at low rating

I only really enjoy 2s when playing double dps, and my partner also has atleast a decent skill level. Nothing huge, but being able to focus cc and pay a little attention to cooldowns/defensives goes a long way in making games fun. It's especially great when you score a hard fought victory against healer/dps teams.

Not at all. Slightly given up on gearing my mage because even on 1200 rating you meet stupidly well-geared double-dps comps. Getting demolished while doing very little damage is not fun.

Dude, promise me you'll kill NORMAL Klaxxi at some point. I can't believe you've gotten everything else but the Paragons on normal. That would drive me nuts.

On topic; I like doing them, but I am terrible, and haven't met anyone who's willing to be terrible with me, and grow into it. All I seem to be getting is "dude you suck" and then drop group. WHAT DID I DO WRONG, TELL ME SO I CAN IMPROVE!
