    how's my build looking? feedback

my budget for the build alone is about 1200, maybe 1300 at the very limit. all without including a monitor yet. what i'm looking to get out of this build is to be able to run wow and most pc games out on ultra/max settings, high fps, ect. with some future proofing. country is usa also.

    MoBo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...d=scsho6172788 ($145)
    CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...d=scsho6193708 ($240)
    RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...=18aw3o42v0iyc ($80)
    GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-046-_-Product ($290)
    SSD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...D=1jfyd05ebkdt ($135)
    HDD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822148834 ($85)
    PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817151096 ($64)
    Heatsink: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...D=j1e7iq92xaqu ($28)
    Case: http://www.amazon.com/Phanteks-Entho...iglink20372-20 ($95)
    dvd: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827135305 ($20)
    --------------------------------------------------
    Estimated Total Price – $1178

i took the build from Marest's Sample Builds thread but switched some stuff to my liking. few parts i'd like some input on though mostly is if the PSU is fine for the build power wise and if it's stable, since i hear you never want to cheap out on it and to me it seems fairly cheap in price. my other concern is if anyone has or knows more about the r9 280x series and any issues to be aware of or if that's mostly just people getting bad GPU and so on. i might change the case more then likely so if anyone has suggestions for that it'd be awesome (looking for most air flow, not doing liquid cooling)

other then that i'd just like input on what people think if this build will do what i'm looking for in it and if it's overall good, no issues, ect.

Only thing I would change is the SSD to something like the Crucial MX100 256GB or Samsung EVO 250GB
Don't really know much about HDDs nowadays.
You could go for a higher end heatsink like Noctua D14 within your price range.

I think the issue with the GPU (Sapphire) is that their customer service is horrendous.

Kostattoo you're going to have some clearance issues with that RAM and heatsink.

wasn't expecting to have replies this quickly lol, i'll take a look at what you've suggested kostattoo just a quick over look of it sounds good compared to what i picked out or changed. was trying to figure a way to get a r9 290x too rather then the 280x but couldn't figure out if it'd make my budget when i was trying to change things around.

also i'm not sure if my links are showing up as uk but i'm from the usa so it's usd rather then pounds, sorry if there's any confusing. thanks so far for the help/suggestions.

btw my only concern with the gigabyte gpu is i've heard about stress on it being quite large and was wondering how common it is for a gpu to fail/break from bending or whatever the right term is for it.

I thought it was the old Asus ones that had issue of being too big and 3x slots.
No idea about the stress, sorry.

Kostattoo, the issue isn't (or is depending on how you want to look at it) the heatsink, but the RAM has big heat spreader / sinks / whatever you want to call it.

Not for long. They want to experiment with opening up for EU customers as well.

i think what kostattoo has suggested for a build sounds good for me to get, my only thing i have issue with it is i'd like a different case but checking and making sure there's room for everything and nothing in the way for that gpu. i do have one last thing to ask if someone has a great suggestion for maybe a 100-150usd monitor since i lack knowledge in that.

    otherwise thanks for the help.
