The Onyx Panther (Costs all the other panther mounts to make, so it's 18k per one already)
The Yak mount (Actually has usages to it)
The Engineering rockets (I think these cost a couple of Orbs of Mystery, which like said are 18k per one)
It just doesn't make sense, two of those are meant to be for selling for profit since they're profession things, and the other has actual usage. The closest this can be compared to is the Yak mount, which is more worthy of 100k+ than this chopper is.
you are not paying for extra amenities like you are for those other mounts, you are paying for the fact that the collective whole of the alliance failed.
And before someone says "lol you're just mad because Alliance lost", no, if this was the Horde getting the same thing you can bet I'd be there saying it's equally ridiculous. There's no reason players should be "punished", the punishment is already knowing you lost and that you have to pay for the mount, not that you have to cough up your life savings and hope you can make enough to actually get the mount.
Alliance may have a larger player base, but "FOAR DA HORDE" is what people go frothingly mad over. If you've ever been to a Blizzcon, it's extremely obvious that they would always win any popularity contest. You could blame it on the fact that the Alliance don't have a catchy battle cry (pop quiz, do you even know what it is?), but even with the crappy battle cry, horde is just more popular. Again, regardless of population numbers.
It's a product of Blizzard over-agitating an already overgrown problem... In any public event for WoW or the Warcraft series in general, the horde is always overplayed and given the most attention. The devs and team members themselves hold and create more hype for horde. Now, before you call me out on horde v. alliance favoritism, I'm speaking purely about public/online events and their effect on the in-game community.
Gameplay-wise... 100k is excessive. Highly excessive. A mount like this should cost 10k MAX. It offers no utility and doesn't fly. To all those saying that this is a punishment to the losers of the contest.. Keep in mind that if 100k is the final price for a mount like this, it will comfortably pave their way to add grossly excessive gold sinks in other areas of their game. And it'll be BOTH factions problem then. Oh and I realize the yak is an excess as well, but it offers utility in the way of 2 passenger seats and 2 NPCs.

100k settlement isn't bad. The losing vote shouldn't expect anything at all tbh.
They're being generous if you ask me for even adding it in the game.
Although I thought I'd be 15-20k, but now I hope it stays at 100k so I can read all the crying about a cosmetic item.
I find it really odd that people on these forums will call Blizzard generous for this, yet pick apart everything else they do as having an ulterior motive. Obviously they're just using this as a "Look Alliance we really do like you! And we listened to your requests!!" when they've had it planned from the start most likely.
They might not have had it planned at all. You know, it IS blizzard.
Extra points if you saw what I did there
I think putting it in the game for such an absurd price is a lot more insulting than simply not having it at all. They should have just made the bike that won available to both factions and been done with it. But it makes no difference to me really. I had no intentions of ever using either.
I too expected 10-20k, but should have expected yak mount territory when I saw it said hefty sum. Granted, it is 100k in WoD gold, and the value of gold has deflated every xpac, so there's that
The bike isn't worth 10% of that. That's pretty laughable if that price is what actually hits live.
Honestly I thought the alliance bike blew the horde one out of the water, am I the only person who thought that? I thought the horde one looked like a cheap toy and was pretty laughable. also 100k really isn't much, considering how easy gold is to come by.
I'll be waiting for somebody to send me few hundred thousand gold, since it appears to be "pocket change" for some.
I was hoping that I wouldn't need to sell my loots from completing Shadowmourne, but oh well. And if that one quote is correct, they'll lower the price to ~20.000 gold and I don't need to sell them.
Message was clearly given ... if u want benefits, go play horde. It was simply clear result since blizz said there will be vote, cause massive majority of players is horde. Hey who wants some free mount? lets just crush the vote. I bet everyone voted for theirs faction just so they can get something free ingame.
