    New Build (Need Advice & Opinions)

    CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
    Motherboard: ASRock Z97 PRO4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
    Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
    Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
    Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB Video Card
    Total: $709.93

    Wanting to make this into a new build for gaming (WOW & other games that come up).

    Thoughts on the CPU and rest for of parts working together smoothly.. Will buy the CPU from a microcenter store this next weekend because its cheapper than online.

    Any advice would be great

    If you could, see if you can get one of these bundles at Microcenter, the Gigabyte one is really nice.

    If you don't have a CPU cooler already, you can probably get one, otherwise it looks pretty good.

    what about the other motherboards there? would you say that the gigabyte is the best one there in the bundle of options?

    Pretty much all of em are pretty good honestly. If you need WiFi on the MoBo though then I guess the Asus Pro one would work.

    I'd seriously consider getting this bundle (4690k+Z97 Gaming 7 from Gigabyte).

    I'd also look at pushing for an R9-280X for gaming, as well, although it's a touch overkill for WoW. If you do that, though, you're unlikely to be able to get anything else, so no overclocking to begin with.
