Free source for entry Comptia certificates?

I'm trying to obtain the Comptia A+, Network+, and Security+. Is there any up to date and free source that I can study from? Or do I really have to pay for the classes?

i'd recommend full semester class for each cert taught by someone with real experience, try looking at a vocational school or community college, simply crash coursing the cert will get you laughed at and fired when you don't actually remember anything on the job, and yes, its obvious to people when you did a crash coarse vs college classes

that being said, you can find plenty of free resources online, even smartphone apps

This all really depends on you to be honest.

I don't have these certs but plan on getting them. At the same time I do IT work all the time and won't have any problems looking over the material.

A lot of people/contractors I have worked with who DO have these certs though did crash course and didn't know anything.

Paper is worthless these days.
