After rewatching it at 30 I have no idea why, it's terrible, short and pointless lol. Maybe it was the NASA stuff.
I loved BOTH of those movies as a kid. I've rewatched Labyrinth as an adult, and the acting is atrocious, but at a fantastic voyage, it's still pretty good. I haven't rewatched Flight of the Navigator though. I wonder how Batteries Not Included and Short Circuit would hold up.

Batteries Not Included is still a favorite as is Short Circuit 1 and 2 because they at least had a lot of adult themes in them. As a kid I just focused on the fact they're little robots or one big robot that talked weird. Batteries has the whole gentrification thing, dementia, death. Short Circuit, thinly veiled questioning about artificial intelligence and rights.

So yeah, both still good at 30!

I was thinking this seemed a bit out of his price range:

They're great if you don't drop them or put too much stress on them. I have seen as many shattered ceramic knives as I have unshattered ones though.

Maybe it's just a preference thing, Mother had a couple and I found them terrible to work with, Way too light and I felt like they would break if I treated them like I treated them like the set I was give by an ex for my birthday "several" years ago.
