Hello there.

I'm using a BT Home Hub 3 router that is connected to a BT Infinity fibre optic service. Just wondering at a replacement router. Only reason being is I keep having intermittent wifi issues (ethernet always works perfectly). For instance on my phone I keep having to turn Wifi off and on again if I don't use it for 5-10 mins as although wifi connected, internet will not work until I do the reset.

Looking online and it seems forums basically just say stop using BT's router and replace it.

Now will any router for example like Netgear's NETGEAR N600 WNDR3400 support the fact that it's BT Infinity, or do I have to get a more specific router?

Looking for just a cheap replacement really, as the only things I run wirelessly that are getting effected to an annoying degree are my PS4 (suddenly have lag issues if I don't restart it every so often) and my phone. Even my housemate says he has had random connection issues with his Xbox and phone too.

Once I run the PS4 on the ethernet cable it runs perfect.
