Your favorite World of Warcraft Antagonist!

So, I saw a mousepad on a game event where I live that displayed Kel'Thuzad, Illidan Stormrage, The Lich King, Deathwing and Garrosh Hellscream, side-by-side. And then, I thought... "Damn, you can't have Warcraft without a proper Antagonist. That one son-of-a-gun who causes the war."

So, which one is your favorite?

One of the final bosses?
A gnoll on a important quest?
Some evil demon from the Twisting Nether?
Maybe a particular Nathrezim that appears from time from time?
It can be a two-headed ogre too!

Personally, I love Deathwing and Kel'Thuzad. But recently, Garrosh Hellscream turned out to be quite badass in the WoD cinematic IMO.
I mean, look a this smug face he makes:



Aside from those, I think Mal'Ganis is some top-quality evil-guy material.

Deathwing, only if he paid more attention to us heroes, instead of all the aspects. so for that reason, im going with Illidian.

Lich King. He stayed true to his word and just put too much stock into "let my underlings do the heavy lifting" before finally settling on "fine, just let them come to me and I'll murder them all with a thought." Which he did. Easily. Until his father and Tirion double-teamed him and let 25 people beat him up while he was helpless.

Illidan was redesigned into something incompatible with his WC3 persona. Deathwing was too inept to use his world-searing powers when he needed to and just sort of sat around until someone finally killed him without really resisting. Garrosh turned out to literally be a mirror of Stalin and I can never think of someone who impales captured civilian women on spikes in his city, tortures dissidents in cages for all to see and has firing squads kill rebels POWs in the streets as "badass." The very fact that someone can shows just how horrifically bad that cinematic was if they didn't want Garrosh to be the star of this expansion.

The Lich King.

He looks cool.

He has a badass looking armor with excellent, mighty properties.

Frostmourne. Need I say more?

Commands an undead army.

Killed us players.

Excellent background as prince Arthas, and his path towards damnation.

Excellent expansion in which he was put in.

He rocks.

Kargath in Warlords so far, Blackhand is a close second.

N'Zoth or Gul'dan for me.

N'Zoth has been the one responsible for many of our greatest enemies, such as Azshara and the Naga, Deathwing, Nightmare Lord Xavius, the Emerald Nightmare itself, etc. Seemingly the most powerful of the Old Gods, powerful enough to war against C'Thun and Yogg-Saron simultaneously and seemingly have the upper hand on both of them.

Gul'dan is just an awesome villain, one who gives no fucks, doesn't even try to hide what an asshole he is or appeal for sympathy and almost always has a scheme to turn the situation to his advantage. Warlords of Draenor is making me appreciate even more what a devious, clever bastard this guy is. Even when his plan to enslave the orcs goes wrong and he's used as a living battery for the Dark Portal, he still comes out on top.

I look forward to fighting both of them someday. They both have such amazing potential as boss fights.
