    Building new PC @$1500

So.. My PC decided it didn't want to work anymore, but it didn't do it all at once- no of course not, they never do. First..the Hard drive, so I buy a new hard drive. Then..the Video card..so I have a brand new video card as well. Yay. Now the motherboard crapped out and I think it's time to kick old betsy for a new betsy.

Goals: Run WoW/Archeage in high settings w/ fraps
Must haves: Win 8, Motherboard/CPU combo in a case already if possible~
Already have: Geforce GTX660 3GB Video card, hard drive, Solid state drive

Now..as for the rest - I don't know much on computer parts anymore. That's what I'm seeking help for. I'm building it from the ground up - but a Case/Motherboard/core combo would be rather nice. Ultimately I don't want to install a CPU, bad experiences. If I could avoid seating the motherboard, that'd be great too.

Why would you recommend someone going to a different forum after giving "us" praise?

Seating the motherboard is really not a hard task at all, I wouldn't worry about it.

plenty of room in the budget for a better GPU as well if you ever decide to sell the GTX 660, it's alright for your games but nothing special. A 280X/290 would be nice or wait for Nvidia 8-series which is expected in ~September and later.

I know it's not exactly what you're asking for, but seeing as you already have a gtx 600+, I'd recommend ditching fraps and using Nvidia Shadowplay instead, especialy for thing like WoW where, chances are, you're not bottlenecked by your GPU.
“It's now very common to hear people say, 'I'm rather offended by that.' As if that gives them certain rights. It's actually nothing more... than a whine. 'I find that offensive.' It has no meaning; it has no purpose; it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that.' Well, so fucking what.”
