That's not new, feminism has been trying to rid beneficial sexism for quite some time. It's based off of the belief that the world is male dominated and the Patriarchy grants both boons and curses based as it sees fit. Nudes yes. Zoe has been erotic model in the past and has professionally taken nude images of herself for the internet.

the way i see it, sleeping with gaming journalists to push your game isn't that different from paying them to give them good reviews, that wasn't really what this whole thing is about, its a shitty move, but its not like that has never happened before, and bigger companies have certainly paid off journalists to give their shit games good reviews, its shit but it happens. the whole thing started when people called her out on it. and its just been a little bit entertaining.

Well, if an indie developer can exert this much power over so many sources of information, one has to wonder how credible gaming journalism as a whole is, seeing as larger game developers can offer a whole lot more than sex.

A few key points, albeit surrounded in layers of bullshit, that are leading people to the conclusion that she's a shitty person;

Her personal life (while irrelevant in context to her career, it does become relevant when her character is questioned) where in she cheated, lied, slept with married men etc, nothing new but pretty indicative of a shitty person when true.

Fucking over a charity event, that on the front of it stood for everything she herself claimed to stand for, in pursuit of her own personal/greedy interests. Her effects on this charity have been shown, but her motive is purely conjecture at this point.. it could well have been her just being stupid.

I take it you have proof that she was behind this doxxing? Otherwise you are making unsubstantiated accusations that are libellous in nature. Or is this just some internet hearsay?

If she is then it an issue for those who have been doxxed to take up with the authorities who will be able to prove the legitimacy of the complaint.

When I got out of the military I went to work at a local factory, worked hard learned all the jobs and received a temporary promotion when my supervisor had surgery on his leg. It became full time when he was going to be out longer then expected, a cushy semi promotion came open (ie less work slightly more pay for the job I used to do, which made up the majority of the factory workforce.) Granted I had guys coming up to offer me money, work on my car, a lot of stuff but I had probably 4 women I want to say (which was a minority of the females under me (26 I want to say)) make blatant sexual advances. I declined every one of them, a crappy worker in that spot created more work for me, but if your implying male bosses is a sign of patriarchy alone I will disagree, implying men who take advantage of their position is I will agree.

What I'm saying that it is evidence of a patriarchal business structure that it's even a thing worth mentioning, the same isn't true about men sleeping their way up (and it has to happen).

Can I ask how this is productive? I've been reading about the situation, and I admit I don't know everything about the story, but stuff like this detracts from real points and provides fuel for those you seem to be arguing against. Its cool to have an opinion, but when stating that opinion has nothing to do with the discussion outside a chance to bash someone you don't like, maybe its best to keep it to yourself or at least, include it in a much larger post.
