can everyone kill garrosh on normal and one person does not to extend?

Does anyone killing garrosh normal screw up the ID?

Can people who killed garrosh normal join the 13/14 hc lockout the following week?

Yes to all questions. The lockout is bound to characters. If one character doesn't finish in one ID and carries over to the next, everyone except him will have no ID, the moment they enter the raid together the ID is set to the furthest point, which means in this case, Garrosh HC.

Beware however, the other players must not have killed any bosses in the same ID when you plan to encounter Garrosh HC, as several unfinished HC IDs cannot be combined, and having killed NHC bosses will deny access to Garrosh HC.

if its yes to second question then that means killing garrosh on normal will lock all raid members out?

Yes. Alternatively you could just save someone's alt to the heroic ID and have everyone kill normal garrosh.

No. Even though you started with a heroic ID, if you zone in on normal you are in your own normal lockout. Every single person in the raid can zone in and kill normal garrosh, each with different groups of people, and no other person who shared the heroic ID will be impacted. If someone takes that heroic ID and kills H Garrosh with it though, then everyone's heroic ID would be 14/14 cleared. That's the difference between normal and heroic lockouts.

Yes. Everyone starts the week with a blank ID, and if you've saved a heroic ID from before anyone can join it. Someone else in the thread was posting about just making sure everyone does have a blank lockout, or at least only normal kills. If your group kills the first few bosses on heroic and then wants to skip ahead to your 13/14H lockout you won't be able to do, since you can't mix heroic IDs.

The key here is that the heroic lockout is different than the normal lockout. The heroic lockout has a specific ID number and records every boss killed with that ID. So even if a player is not present, if a boss is killed they are "saved" to that boss because it's on the same lockout ID. (This is how all raid lockouts worked before the advent of flex lockouts in the pre-Cataclysm patch.) if you switch down to normal, you move to a character-specific ("flexible") lockout.

So, yes, if you kill 13 bosses on heroic, and everyone but one person kills the 14th boss on normal, that one person can still resume the heroic lockout the next week.
