Not sure on the intellectual property rules but I think Overwolf gets a 30% cut of any proceeds from any app you put on their app store.

Would have been a bit more fun with mobile app, at least doable in android, might be a bit more tricky for ios.
App in game, well... then people are in game. I could see much better usage of a portable app.
And coding in js, I mean it's js.... the horror
