Garrrison question

Sorry if this has been answered, i missed it

Say i play my main a Shaman, and then half way through i change to another main,to a say Druid
Do i then have to start a new garrison?
Is the Garrison shared throughout your account?
Or one for each character

Because if not, that seems like a lot of work to start again
And may put (certainly me) people off switching mains

Pretty sure they're exclusive to each character but I can't remember if they said there's going to be a way to make Garrison leveling easier for your alts.

While this is true, it also allows for a lot of utility through alts. (Though I'm kinda dreading

But whats wrong in having them on other chars.
I`ll be doing It on my alts too, for Achiv and for farm purpose.

Maybe if you have a lot of alts and you're trying to maintain garrisons on all of them at the same time. For just a few, it shouldn't be a problem.

That said, the garrisons only need to be checked once every three days, I think it was. The resources it generates are stockpiled and the daily crafting abilities have three charges that regenerate once per day.

Now you brought something that I didn't thought before, since the Garrison lvl 3 buildings are tied to achievements... I need to check if they are account bound or not, that would make the building of Alt Garrison much faster.

Well, it depends on your purpose with the garrison. If you are focused on followers, the best is daily for the Inn dailies.

Looks like a lot of them have account-wide progress. Stay Awhile and Listen for example. Which is pretty awesome. Not sure how that will work with the rewards though. Maybe they mail them to your alts when they hit 100?

I already keep Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to track quest/world boss progress on my 17 90s. I also use the Saved Instances addon for some things, but my spreadsheet is more thorough in what it covers. Will probably do the same for garrisons, assuming I bother on alts at all.
