The funniest part is, it is right next to the movie theater...I'm a movie dude so I go there a lot and every time I walked by it there was never anyone actually working there. Like nobody was ever at the cash register actually selling something to somebody. They were all huddled around a table with like a mockup mountain and towns and shit on it. Not a particular diverse group either.

Well the general population's opinion is that toys are just for children, and it'd be bizarre to see an adult collect them. Figurines are considered nothing more than expensive toys as well.

Same applies to video games, and yet here you are on a forum devoted to them, making something like 3 threads a day.

I enjoy collecting high quality figma/models from the Anime/Manga I enjoy, as well as collecting dragon sculptures.

I have display cases for them and always get compliments from people that visit. It's a good conversation starter too.

My friends are into cars, they race, they put time and money into their cars, they go to events, and one thing i've realized is they are really fucking obnoxious about it, they make a shit ton of noise outside of campus, around town, in neighborhoods, that's their hobby, if people want to collect figurines, go for it, at least you're not being obnoxious about it. I mean if you're running around with a naruto headband yelling ninja chants in publix, then yeah maybe not, but if you're not, more power to ya
