    Spriest spell priority question

Hey guys, I've just recently returned to my spriest and I have a couple questions. Something to know is I'm using 'Solace and Insanity' and 'Twist of Fate' as my talent choices.

1: I have just put devouring plague on a target(below 20% hp) -- and I can either Mind Flay(insanity) or SW: Death - which is the right choice at that time?

2: Is Halo a higher or lower priority spell than Mind flay(insanity) ?

3: What's a good add on to track dot times on multi-target fights like Fallen Protectors, I've been using Ellipsis but I wonder if there is anything better?

    thanks

1.Everytime you are consuming GCD(global cooldown) into generating an orb, you lose no DPS at all, unless really situational things are happening.
    2. Halo is a great DPS spell, especially if snapshotted correctly with procs, trinkets and distance. Althou MFI with good amount of Mastery and Crit will beat it anyways.
3.Cannot help on this one, I am just tracking it on my Shadowed Unit Frames(you can fix boss frames to show only your dots, and often, really strong adds are appearing in boss frames too).

Gaining orbs is your number one priority, so...

    1. SWD before MFI. Only use the first charge of SWD because the second doesn't give you an orb, then continue MFI.
    2. MFI comes before Halo in single target fights. Halo will be better for multi-target (for obvious reasons).
    3. I use ForteXorcist. Highly customizable and works perfect for any DoT tracking (incl multi-dotting)

    Hope this helps bro

Fortexorsist is outdated and old. Use SPtimers. It's way better and it works with affdots so you can see the numerical value of the dot.

It can be found here: www.howtopriest.com/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=5480

It has the ability to import/export settings so if anyone wants mine I can link it for them.

Would you mind linking them? I'm looking to improve my Ui a bit.

I use shadowed ui frame just for the boss frame, you can configure it to display the buff or debuff you want.

This is what my dot timers look like

A more detailed list of my addons can be found here: http://howtopriest.com/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=2594

    With my WA's Here: http://pastebin.com/e7PeGWtP

My UI has been updated/tuned a lil since the update on h2p and with twitch deleting all my old streams, I don't have a nice updated one.

    My SPTimers export: http://pastebin.com/aU1aJtJa
