    Looking for graphics card

    Looking to get a graphics card to pair with my 4790k. I play wow, bf4 currently. Though I do want to the card to also play future games like WoD, bf hardline and possibly other games in the future that I may like.

    I narrowed my choices down but still open to other suggestions. Was thinking of between a 280x or 290. 290x I feel is pushing it since I only play at 1080p.

    However I been reading some reviews and seems like only the Sapphire tri x, toxic, vapor are the only solid brands our there. I could be wrong since these reviews seem to be months old.

    Technology is always in development. Release dates may also be wrong from time to time.

    Haven't been up to date however I think it's the 800 series.
    Nvidia usually launches with violent high prices. Later lowers them when Radeon launches theirs, however might be different this time.

    Oh, just noticed.
    The release date also seems to be much sooner.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GeForce_900_series " starting with the release of the GeForce GTX 980 and the GeForce GTX 970 on September 19, 2014. "

    Can't be sure if I can take Wiki as a fact though.

    They say;
    399 / 499 (970/980)

    I'd say something like 450 and 550 for having the headstart.

    I would wait a few days and we may be able to find out some confirmed release dates and pricing on the new cards. If it really is in a few weeks then you could wait to compare performance to pricing. These cards are suppose to give more power for less.
