    New Computer Build - Australia

I am looking to have a new computer built in the next few weeks. My budget is AUS $800-$1000, no peripherals are needed. I have nothing that I can reuse, as I am using a laptop at the moment. I only play WoW, so my main concern is performance during raid environments. Any and all help is highly appreciated, because I have no idea.

The budget is concerning parts only, not paying someone to build it for me.

This is arguably the best you're going to get, because OZ prices are insane.

The set up proposed by tenangrychickens above, when overclocked above 4Ghz will net you a little more minimum fps when running wow but since its a 2-core it will struggle at multitasking. The other option would be to sacrifice the overclocking capability and go for an i3 setup plus a more powerful gpu:
(if it wasn't for the o/s you could almost get an i5 4690k/Z97 combo).

So, if I increased my budget to $1200-ish, would I be able to get anything significantly better? And I see that you gave me the 520W Power Supply while tenangrychickens linked the 620W. Is that a clearance issue or ? Sorry if that seems like a stupid question, but I really have no clue.

    Thank you!

You'd get the 4690k and overclock that to improve WoW performance etc. You won't get 60 fps at 1080p during heavy raids. You will get decent enough general playing performance (except, of course, in Shattrath when WoD comes out.)

As tenangrychickens said, 4690k+Z97+aftermarket cpu cooler. 520W is enough, at full load will need less than 400W, like 370-380.
