    Furbolgs are future Alliance race?

Furbolgs would be a good match for an alliance race, though Blizzard would probably wait a little while before relaxing another animalistic race. They are already a part of the Alliance and have a good relationship with most alliance races.

    Mount: Deer/Stag

    Classes:
    *Druid
    *Shaman
    *Monk
    *Priest
    *Hunter
    *Warrior
    *Rogue

They are also average in intelligence level and could easily be given a new model and female model.

Some say High Elf... Others say the fish people... Who really knows.

they are stupid half bears, who are nearly extinct, highly doubt they will join anything.

Below average intelligence level and they're also quite closely affiliated with the Tauren though probably less so since Cataclysm what with "The Horde" sacking Azshara and Ashenvale. They are wary, and often hostile towards, all other races. From Human to Orc. They may be related to the Pandaren but that seems to have been retcon'd.

If we were talking pre-MoP, maybe.

But they're too similar to Pandaren IMO. Not lore-wise, but physically.

    Why is everyone misspelling Arakkoa?

Srsly... some ppl got just too hyped by doing some (nowadays called "bad") quests involving the furbolgs. They play absolutely no role. Can't imagine anyone who would feel attached to them besides the few one who played in vanilla AND wotlk.

At this point in the lore (where Blizz is now creating it instead of building upon heroes and villans we already know) I'd like to have some totally new races introduced. All this Naga/Furblog/Vrykul/Satyr seem really pedestrian at best.

    Agreed.

Lore wise, the Arakkoa have more going for them. Especially now that we've met these alternate ones.

    They are dull.
I'd rather see Arakkoa-Ally, Ogre-Horde. Both have far better lore

Plus they have an exodus on Draenor.

    +10 Arakkoa

I'd not wish the curse of Alliance on anyone. Joining the Alliance is a lore deathwish as you immediately become forgotten. For a race that share Draenor with the orcs have we learned anything new about the Draenei?

Not enough interesting backstory, no real personality, too much overlapping with pandaren.

    Not going to happen.

No, they look horrible, had a bad story and I doubt alliance wants such a joke for a race. The alliance needs a race that actually has a good story and won't be forgotten for once.

So more humans? Because that seems to be the only race that doesn't get forgotten.

I don't think it likely. We have a Bear race on both factions. A Furbolg subrace for Pandarens might be likely - except I don't see a Horde equivalent.

Being blunt - the problem with the Worgen, Pandaren and Draenei isn't their lack of story. It's Blizzards decision not to do anything with them. Furbolg have a story - corruption of their home - but also have the little problem that its largely been integrated as a NElf story. One could be added, but that could be said for the other Alliance races as well...and Blizzard doesn't seem to be doing much with them.

The story for any race must be completed by about level 20. At that point, they should be integrated into the Alliance or Horde and their story largely complete, albeit with some plot hooks. The Goblins did this almost perfectly. Their starter story has them initiated into the Horde, their own story largely complete but with plot hooks left available for when Blizzard wants to use them, without the ticking timebomb feel.

Interesting how the prospects of new Alliance races comes down to "yet another elf race" or "yet another bear race."

They're both wanted and they're both currently non-playable races of the Alliance.

If you wanted to get into something other than those, then I would consider the Arakkoa, Ethereals and Drakonids as viable Alliance races. People may also suggest Naga and the Children of Cenarius but I think the former is more suited to the Horde and the latter a bit limited given the overlap with NElfs. Tol'vir might be suitable...but I think those too would work a bit better as a Horde race....if only because it gives the Horde new territory and a non decimated race to work off.

HElfs and Furbolg are popular suggestions due to their existing ties with the Alliance and their existing ingame presence and history.

Technically we already do, they are called Pandaren. Its equivalent to wanting blood elves for the alliance when we already have night elves.

Nah, fulbolgs are too close to Pandaren. That's as dumb as adding high elves to the alliance lol! I want Arakoa in the alliance! The high born ones! They should be able to be warriors, warlocks, priests, rogues, Druids, death knights, and monks.
