Buying Parts - Cant decided between 2 gfx cards

yes it should fit in ur case and both cards are almost the same, the gtx being slightly better because has bigger memory, require less power and probably is cooler , in normal circumstances a reference 280 would be litte bit better than a reference 760 but not by much(but also the 280 use to be more expensive): the price of the gtx probably drops because (-"rumors, speculations and nothing official"-) on sep 19 nvidia will release the new 900 series

to chose the perfect gpu, depends a lot in what do u want to play or do, and how are you going to use it, chosing the perfect GPU has a lot of options

some games perform better on Nvidia others in AMD, this depend totally on the driver, some are better for gaming other are better for video/photo rendering, etc. etc.

The 280X no question about it. It is also a tier higher regarding performance.

760 is comparable to the 280/285, whereas the 280x is comparable with the 770.
If you want to stick with the 760, get a 2GB model. 4GB is wasted on it and more importantly you can get a better card for the same price.
