Well, having two parties with complete definitive power has already destroyed America and her interests.

Because of reasons like this I would rather have a runoff system, in Louisiana we have a jungle system, while it has its problems, it is pretty good. If no one gets 50% of the votes it goes to a run off against the top 2 candidates.

So maybe you shouldn't use simple majority voting.

It doesn't make much difference though.

well to be honest... 2 party system is bullshit, and everyone should be declared "independent" so that idiots who vote straight republican or straight democrat actually have to learn something or another. Party system is what is killing us. saying that there should be a "democrat" on the list is basically saying its "red vs blue" with no chance of a 3rd joining/winning. But hey, if an independant wins, then good, thats a win for the country, even if its a democrat rigging the elections based on poll results... because those have never been wrong =D

Perfect example of why we need to change our entire voting system. There is no reason that voting for the guy you like the most should result in helping the guy you like the least win.

Why is OP so biased ? ( rethoric )

In this situation it's ONLY the republican who try by all meaning to force a democrat in the election (I mean wtf forcing someone being in an election ?).

They try gaming the system by spliting their opposition to win with a minority of vote... Talk about democracy "hurp durp we will do anything to win with 30% of voices"...

Wait, aren't the Republicans notorious for gerrymandering?

Said before, and I'll say it again. Set term limits for congress and senate. Then losers like Harry Reid cease to exist.
Actually from what I heard democrats are actually doing better than predicted.

We have term limits, they're called elections. It's the failure of the electorate that they are inadequate.

    As for the original issue...it's a non-issue.

It was legal, what the Republican Secretary of State did was illegal by trying to force the Democrat to stay a candidate even though he had all of the paperwork and it was handed in on time. This is why the Kansas supreme court ruled the way they did.

...it's the Republicans that are actually gaming this election.
Except there is literally NO PROOF that said illegals are voting.

I don't see the problem with this. Kind of funny that the secretary of state is trying to force them to put up a candidate.
'Twas a cutlass swipe or an ounce of lead

Honestly with Republicans creating the least productive Senate in the history of fucking ever, I wish we could get a few of them out of there.

Republicraps cries even if the democrat isnt even running for office really that should be your dream scenario that the other party isnt even fielding a candidate but as usual you cant make the republicans happy regardless of how great they have it

"Republicraps?" Really? Calling your opponent a poopyhead doesn't lend strength to your position.

Thats what they are. only a craphead like the sec of state failing to follow court orders yeah thought so, I know the exact tune from the republicrap groups in this country if a democratic elected official was action in that fashion.

Here is the thing. WE WOULD NEVER HEAR THE END OF IT and how corrupt that democrat etc is, and when a republicrap does it the excuse making for his actions are coming faster than the debt collector mails when you fail to pay your bills. So yeah until the actions of republicans become one of respecting the laws etc until than it is just a bunch of republicrap period

Which is illegal since nowhere does it say the party has to have a candidate for election.

To all the posters spewing drivel like "Republicrap" and "Demotard", you embody precisely what's wrong with politics atm.

In a complete non-shocker, candidates from both sides of the political spheres actually have some good ideas - so please pull your heads out of your polarized assholes and start working for a cohesive future, rather than slinging shit at each other 24/7.
