[A] Merely a Setback - 14/14 N LF Raiders for 6.0 and WoD

MaS is not just a guild, its a philosophy. We are raiding guild who is interested in experiencing as much as Azeroth has to offer without sacrificing the most important thing in the World of Warcraft....fun! We plan to focus on WoD heroic content as soon as possible in WoD. Until then we will focus on SoO clears to try and get members their coveted heirlooms.

MaS isn't about having the best gear, or taking down the most difficult bosses, though we will do those things. MaS is not about uber pwning, mad 1337 loot, Chuck Norris, or being the first guild to accomplish tasks on Zul'jin.

What is MaS about? It's about good friends playing together. Its about helping the guy next to you achieve for the good of the entire team. MaS is not just a guild, its a community. A place where you can go, and know that the people around you are people you can count on. MaS is about enjoying the content together.

It is late in the expansion so we are not concerned with your ilvl or lack thereof, we don't care about your current progression. What we care about is the person behind the keyboard. Will our boss kills made more fun because you were involved? We hope so!

We are seeking dedicated players who have a desire to constantly get better. If you want to raid, get things done and be the best you can be we are the place for you. If you want carried to new gear, have no desire to learn your class, or make no effort to mesh with the guild then look elsewhere.

We want to be the last home for skilled raiders who also happen to be awesome people.

We know what we want. The only question remains.....Are you with us?


Now to the good stuff:

-We are a mature 18+ guild.
-Our raid days are Thursday and Friday from 9-12 EST
-We are 14/14 in SoO Normals (Right where we want to be)
-We require that your gear be up to the current content ( an easily achieved 528+). Gear is obtainable and we would love to help you gain it via Flexes or normals as long as you are willing to put in the effort as well.
-After a discussion on our message boards we will require a trial period (minimum 2 weeks) which consists of cross-realm raiding to see if we are a fit for each other. During this time we will record logs and review them with you to show where improvement can be made or where you did it right.
-Once we both come to a common ground we will ask you to transfer over to Zul'jin to join us in our endeavors to destroy Grommash and his pitiful Horde.

I think you might like Merely a Setback. We are a 2 day a week "raid" guild in that our primary focus is progressive raiding. That being said we feel we are unique in that we as guild that pride ourselves on a player first approach, we care about finding the right people, not just super skilled elite players who can help us kill bosses. It is our opinion that doing things in game is more enjoyable if you have built a rapport with the players you are accomplishing these things with.

Few points about us:
- Adult guild who likes to hang out in mumble, joking and chatting.
- Raid Thurs/Fri 9 - 12 EST
- Do several other things together throughout the week as a guild. We are not a log on and raid and not speak to each other the rest of the week kind of guild.
- We don't want you to be just another name on our roster, we want to get to know you and share in the experiences of Azeroth and Draenor with you.

Quick visit to the doctor for a race change surgery will fix you right up! We actually are comprised of about 90% former horde players.
