Very late in the patch i know, but its had me thinking for a while:

I understand with the 2 set our aim is to balance our mastery and crit as evenly as possible, but my question is, do we balance the rating or the percent crit/mastery proc chance?

As an elaboration (and to steal an image I used in another thread), when using AMR to reforge just set Crit and Mastery the same:



If you're not able to hit the GCD cap with your current gear, then just set the soft cap to DP+3.

I personally go for more crit than mastery simply because I don't believe it's worth going for more mastery after the 50% mark(with mastery buff) - although others have different opinions about it.
