I'm looking forward to resident evil the final chapter :S The last film ended in a warzone with the red queen trying to wipe out life...would like to see how that ends... also would love to see a white queen vs red queen battle >.<

If there is one, hopefully it isn't like Revelation was. It was just... So bad.

They're making a Dead Rising movie? Seriously???

I mean it was a fun game but it was already a rip off of Dawn of the Dead, which is a movie that already has a perfectly decent remake.

But hell with it, zombies in a shopping mall...
    I'll still probably watch it.

Shit, I didn't even know there was a Metal Gear movie in the works. That could make an awesome movie if Hollywood doesn't donkey it up. There's also a Mortal Kombat movie that might be decent. It was supposedly going to release around the same time as Mortal Kombat X (last I heard).

But yeah, Warcraft is definitely my most anticipated.

I doubt SotC will ever get out of development hell, and if it does it's probably too obscure to make much of an impact, but if the stars align and it does the game some measure of justice then I'll be very happy. I'm worried they'll take the minimalist plot and douse it with exposition for dummies and cringe material, but c'est la vie.

TLOU... eh. There's a perfectly good and movie-friendly story to adapt there, so there's not many excuses for failure. I wish they'd reconsider Maisie Williams for Ellie, but fuck it.

Warcraft has serious potential, but much like its expansions I've long stopped overhyping it. If it's good, great. If it's average, no surprise. If it's bad, kek.

I'd be safe and go with Wreck-It Ralph 2. I didn't even know there was a sequel in the works.

Yeah, I liked it a lot too. There were a lot of areas where it could have been a lot better IMO, but it was overall a good start, and I found it to be pretty good.

If they get around to making Bishock actually happen then it'd be that. Otherwise, Mass Effect. The first 10 minutes will be awesome.

Warcraft I'm looking forward to. I think they can do a good job on that one. I'm also interested in the Assassin's Creed movie. If they can just make the movie focused on the assassin part and cut out that Abstergo crap, I think it could be a pretty awesome movie, if they do it right of course. Then there's the Mass Effect movie. I've been interested in this movie also but I haven't heard anything about it in a long time so I don't know what to think of this one. I hope that it will be a good movie since it was a very good game series but it seems the probability of it actually being released as a movie is getting slimmer and slimmer.

That's pretty much how I feel about it as well. The lack of night elves, draenei and blood elves makes me less inclined to go out of my way to see it. I'd have preferred a full on cinematic style movie set in the present timeline with all the playable races having their fair share of time in the spotlight.

im not looking forward to the wow movie at all.

the easiest one out of these to portray on screen would be uncharted i think or splinter cell. the closer to fantasy, the harder it is to translate sometimes.

Only one I want is a Super Mario Brothers sequel, I don't care if they have to dig up Bob Hoskins and Dennis Hopper.

That or a DoA sequel. Honestly that's been the best video game to movie adaptation to-date. The game delivers: horrible writing, fighting, and boobs. The movie delivers: horrible writing, fighting, and boobs. PERFECTION!

    The study is flawed.

First they used reddit which, lets face it, isn't big among people older than thirty. Secondly they only had 315 responses. That's a severely low response to get an accurate gauge.

That being said I'm not a console gamer. I HAVE played the Uncharted and AC series. Uncharted struck me as something of a modern Indiana Jones rip-off. (I consider Tomb Raider to be about the same, albit with a female lead.) The AC series has promise depending on how it's spun. The problem with it, though, is that the back-story can get really complicated really fast. I stopped watching Resident Evil after the first one. (Zombie films do nothing for me.)

And Warcraft? At it's heart Warcraft is another D&D-style film. Those can always do very well IF, and only IF, they are done right.

This toxic "every cultural aspect of human society needs a movie" thing Hollywood has going on is getting cringe-worthy. Every book, video game, toy and poem will have a movie by the time I die, I imagine.

I mean really Minecraft the movie? Angry Birds the movie? Pac-Man the movie? The Last of Us the movie, it already IS a movie, was there even gameplay?

    TETRIS the movie!

Yes there is a movie being made. No, the attached video is a fake (but a good laugh).

I wouldn't mind a Dante's Inferno movie at all, after looking at some of the cutscenes that they put into the game (I'm talking about him returning home to find his home trashed) I could see it being quite good if directed well and not just focusing on blood and gore. Sure, there would a heavy element to it, but I could see more of the reasoning, faith and belief making it into something a bit more substantial.

Only thing in the wow movie i care about is to see Travis Fimmel carry the movie. He is the only good one in the cast, Ben Foster is also great.

Other then that no one, maby Dante's Inferno as i like the whole Purgatorio thing.

Mass Effect and Warcraft. I don't give a crap about the rest.
