I am about 180lbs at 5'7 and I've been bulking for the past 2 years from 140lbs. I want to cut now. I've been told I should eat 10 cals per lbs of bodyweight while having refeeds every now and then.
So basically I'd start cutting at 1800 cals, then when i hit 170lbs go back to maintenance calories @ 170 for a few weeks to give my metabolism a "break" and then start cutting at 1700 calories to get down to 160lbs.
Obviously I'll still be keeping protein around 1g per lbs of bodyweight to make sure I don't lose much muscle on the cut.
How does this sound?
