Considered addiction, but instead went with "the sole thing in this world that I live for".
May have already been posted, but the Gul'dan 'Everything' gif.
Stay salty my friends.
Something you do to have fun and genuinely look forward to not just to kill time.
Almost all of the above. It is also my escape from reality, once I put my headset on that means it's my time to relax and I dont wanna be bothered.

Something I enjoy doing to let off steam or for plain entertainment.
An escape from the horrors of reality.
"The sword is mightier than the pen, and considerably easier to kill with."
Can't choose from the options. It is more than a hobby for me, but less than what I live for. I would say it like this: there are 3 main parts of my life I really care about, and they are:
1. Relations with people
2. Career
3. Video games
None of these is more important than others, there are just parts of my life and I wouldn't give up any of them no matter what. Some days I hang out with people most of the time, other days I care more about my career and try to learn something, other days still I can spend playing videogames from 9 AM to 1 AM.
Battletoads motherfucker.
Just another form of entertainment. Sometimes I read, sometimes I chat with friends or watch TV, sometimes I play PC while laughing at consoles.
Gaming is an interactive entertainment media.
It's a fun way to kill some time, meet people, interact with a storyline and stuff like that, that you can't get from Book/movies/TV.

Sport, Im competitive by nature I have been very good at Outdoor sports through out my life and gaming feed thats addiction even more.
I only play games that require skill and have an extremely high skill ceiling.
I played Counter-Strike for 10 years and Dota for 7.
Both these games have extremely high skill ceiling, I believe CS1.6 has the highest of any game ever made you simply cannot stop getting better.
When I play these games I don't see visuals I don't see story I don't see character models, to me its all code and mechanics and mathematics, I just go in to put in what I have practice and strive to become better.
