Dual Monitor

I dual box on one screen by using window mode and opening wow twice.

Would my lag increase if I buy a second monitor instead?

I'm not sure Lag would be the correct term.

But your graphics card can only handle so much. Adding the resolution of a separate screen will require much more performance, Unless you reduce the resources the software takes by reducing your graphics.

So in a way yes, but that only matters depending on your build. I.E my laptop uses 2 Graphics cards for battery saving purposes. Plugging a separate screen actually allows me to use both at the same time.

The idea is that your GPU has to render a second screen compared to only 1.
You might be able to run wow twice using dual monitors just fine but that all depends on the GPU.
Still wow isn't as intense on the GPU as it is on the CPU.

If done it on my old gpu and it worked fine if i turned the settings down a notch.
