In unsanitary locations where you're in direct contact with a sick person's bodily fluids . . . as in absolutely no first world hospitals.

Ebola is so overblown, I'm getting tired of hearing it.

There is no threat unless you go around licking infected people, at least looking at given scenarios in the west

This is actually a bit of the problem with containing the situation in west africa, with people coming into close contact with the bodies of their dead that still hold the disease while grieving.

And while we're at it we should also ban any kind of interaction (other than nukes) with those nations that mentally live in a medieval world that had been buffed with 21st century weaponry, and now make a point of beheading people who are at least 500 years ahead of them. Problem is it can't be done and won't happen.

In what world does isolating a nation from the world economy improve it.

Well one of the main reasons Ebola flourish in Africa is a combination of climate, lack of sanitation and lack of healthcare. A large part of the western world have proper sanitation, health care and a climate in which ebola can't survive.

No matter the risk level, we have to keep a careful eye on it. I don't really see why we should have people coming in and out of the source of the disease unless they are specially equipped for it or are being treated.

Unless you're drinking the sweat, or tucking into the feces of those infected with Ebola, you're not going to get it.

The general public have no reason to fear or be concerned by this, but it is something that should be taken seriously, by the proper authorities.

I just find it staggering though, that vast amount of Doctors, Scientists and Researchers are saying; "Yes, this is bad but don't worry" and everyone worries.

A vast amount of Doctors, Scientists and Researchers say that Global Warming will destroy our planet, or that there is an Obesity Epidemic, or anything else along those lines, and they say; "Yes, this is bad and you need to start taking action now" and everyone just shrugs it off.

More to do with the media tbh. When you have news stations stating global warming is fake, or ebola is going to kill us people believe them. When in reality they know they are lying but hey it boost ratings right?
