The main. My first Metal Gear game was the first Metal Gear Solid on PS1, so maybe that's why. I liked Sons of Liberty as well but sort of lost interest after that.

twin snakes was amazing. trying to figure out who was supposed to be the perfect clone and all that jazz. surprise guest at the end of guns of patriots. sons of liberty was a little goofy though. theyre a conspiracy inside of a conspiracy!

OG Metal Gear was one of the 10 games I owned on NES back in the day. Its always going to be my favorite, with Snake's Revenge a close second.
Nothing beats, "The truck have started to move".
But I did like the PS1's Metal Gear best of all the others. It had the most memorable characters and didn't go completely off the reservation like some of the later MG games.
