Your favorite restaurant? And how many times a year do you eat there?

OK, let's skip fast food places, and talk about real restaurants.

I have an Indian place near me called Shagun. We go about 6x a year.

Right now probably Beaver's. I eat there maybe 35 times a year.

Really it's more about drinking there and talking to my fellow barstool sitters though.
'Twas a cutlass swipe or an ounce of lead
Or a yawing hole in a battered head
And the scuppers clogged with rotting red
And there they lay I damn me eyes
    All lookouts clapped on Paradise
All souls bound just contrarywise, yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!

    McDonald's.

Joking, I don't go to restaurants but I do buy some crap from McDonald's every now and then.

    Outback Steakhouse.

Yes, I'm being serious. The Bloomin' Onion may be bad for my arteries, but it keeps me coming back for more.

Don't have a favorite, but I'm really fond of proper grilled steaks. Go out to a restaurant maybe 6-10 times a year.

Place called Roxies here, damn good homemade food, tad expensive. Probably go about 15x a year. That includes lunches with my co-workers sometimes too though.

Fancy sushi place called Zento. Expensive but worth it. I go about once, twice a month. Great place to bring a date.

OK, that is the weirdest combination of stuff I've seen on a restaurant website. It's a cartoon of some Italian dude sipping from a ladle, and it's "Traditional Japanese Curry and Spaghetti." I wasn't aware Japan had traditional Spaghetti either.

There's this hole-in-the-wall Thai place near me that's super cheap, but so, SO delicious. I probably go 10+ times a year (I don't eat out often, so that's a lot for me). There's also a great Chinese/Japanese place near where I grew up and I go there a handful of times a year if I can. I just love any kind of Asian food.

There's also a really good Halal food truck outside of my job that I frequent.

I like a good chinese buffet resteraunt.

Wouldn't mind eating at one of Gordon Ramsay's resteraunts to see if they're as good as he makes them out to be though.

    Fancy Indian restaurant
    Eclectic Thai restaurant
    Authentic Korean restaurant

Those are my favorites. The Indian place is adorned with all sorts of stuff, extremely well dressed staff and very expensive, so I don't go much. The Thai place is small, but in a good location, it has a lot of plants and what looks like hand woven place mats, that kind of vibe, really scenic. The Korean place is in a small pocket of the Korean community area of town, and it has traditional foods.

They have good reviews, and the food is excellent. It is also actually very "Japanese" in the feel inside. Very minimalist, and they have the best Cafe au Lait, in town.
Cafe au lait sounds very Japanese too...

    I'm not denying it's good. I'm sure it's excellent. It's just odd.

I don't really have a favorite per say.

    But these are good because...
Burgersson - Because they got the best damn hamburgers. Around $15 for a bacon and cheese(no you don't get fries, no you do not get a soda). Whenever I feel the urge, it's close to our apartment. Everything is also sourced from "local" farmers.
Trattoria La Strega - Favorite Italian, 1-2 times per month.
Thörnströms kök - It's world class scandinavian, expensive but worth the money. Not very often, that would ruin me. Special occasions.

Honorable mention to Dorsia because the place is just fantastic looking.
The nerve is called the "nerve of awareness". You cant dissect it. Its a current that runs up the center of your spine. I dont know if any of you have sat down, crossed your legs, smoked DMT, and watch what happens... but what happens to me is this big thing goes RRRRRRRRRAAAAAWWW! up my spine and flashes in my brain... well apparently thats whats going to happen if I do this stuff...

For takeaway it's this local Chinese/Indonesian restaurant. Their babi pangang is amazing. Drop €25 there and you can feed 4 people comfortably and the food is just awesome. Haven't had any better anywhere else. Probably pick up food there every other month.

For going out it's a Greek restaurant part of a small chain, though i already went there before it became part of the chain. Menu changed slightly, but the quality hasn't. Still as good as ever. Since I'm not a big fan of eating outdoors i don't go often, so probably go there once a year or so out of the 3-4 'mandatory' dinners.

Does my own count? I'll guess no.

I pretty much try every non-chain restaurant that opens within a many mile radius of me. A current favorite is an Italian place with very good pizza. I've been there maybe 6 times in the last year. Another is a typical pub, but with better than usual food... there, again maybe 6 times in the last year. And I can't count how many different vietnamese and thai places I've been to, or how often.
