(Guy) Movies That Make You Cry

I usually don't tear up during movies but there are certain ones, that no matter how many times I watch them, always make me blubber uncontrollably.

Braveheart & Dead Poets Society. Even though I love watching these movies over and over, there are times when I can't watch them or I risk ruining a perfectly good Saturday night. And these two movies are strangely similar in their plot and protagonist. Right down to the main character making a huge sacrifice to provide his people/students with the inspiration to gain their freedom.

Are there any movies (for us guys) that do the same thing for you?

John Coffey's execution scene in The Green Mile.

I wouldn't go as far as crying or anything, but yeah, I'll admit that the room got a little dusty when I watched that scene.

The Fellowship of the Ring: When Sam almost drowns.
The Return of the King: From the moment Aragorn says "You bow to no one" until the very end.
An Unexpected Journey: When the eagles let them down on the rock and Thorin talks to Bilbo.
    Toy Story 3: The ending.
Love Actually: When Andrew Lincoln declares his love to Keira Knightley.
Tangled: When Rapunzel meets her parents.
    Frozen: When Anna saves Elsa.

And many more. Not only Disney. I'm a very sensitive guy and a sucker for happy endings.

Gotta admit, that make me choke too for a moment.

The burial scene in Braveheart was a tough one too.

OMG I was falling apart during this scene, trying to hold it together! Those were some serious feels.

I can't even think about the hand holding garbage scene in Toy Story 3 or when Mufasa is thrown off the cliff without tearing up. Too much. I'll never watch those movies again.

Futurama has a way of just kicking you right in the feels when it comes to Fry's 20th century life. What about the episode about his brother/nephew, or his mom?

haha, I second that one. I have only seen maybe 10 min but it was enough to make me consider suicide.

Groundhog Day always chokes me up...that part in the middle when all hope is lost.....

Only 2 movies in recent memory have made me cry or get all choked up.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oswqHfHJwIk <-- that part always gets to me

and the second behind a spoiler as it is fairly recent In How to Train Your Dragon 2, when the Bewilderbeast forces Toothless to blast Hiccup, but Stoick takes the blast and dies.

The final scene in The Last Samurai got me a bit in theaters. The part with
"You were there with him? At the end? Will you...tell me how he died?"
"I will tell you how he lived."

Not generally a Tom Cruise fan, but I like that movie.

Yes, that part really hit me as well.

Bicentennial Man, just something about humanity and his quest to be human just makes me feel it. RIP Robin Williams

Edit: Also Jack, which is again another Robin Williams classic.
