You wont get the "best monitor for wow" for 200 euro sadly :|

Imho IPS is superior. You dont need 1 ms for wow, and the super crisp picture in IPS, just gives an overall better experience i think.

The IPS panel are generally 50% more expensive than TN

I dont have any specific suggestions in that pricerange. Just bough a Dell UH2713, and it's probably the best monitor i've ever tried.

See how much the Dell U2414H is in Holland, probably the best one for your money.

Yeah, so slightly above the 200. I think it's worth it.

I know the best is not for 200.

But i just need a new monitor, my old one died.

The one from Dell is with a gray/silver foot, i dont like that. Must be all black.

    Was thinking about this one:

Cheap, IPS, 16:9, HDMI and 24 inch 5ms and total black.

I have no experience with LG, but if i look @ the specs it looks very good.

In the cheaper range I'd probably go with one of these:

    AOC i2470SWQ
    Asus VN248H

You should check reviews before buying an IPS monitor, a lot of the cheap ones might be affected by bleeding. I recommend Dell U2414H also, it has very high responsive time(doesnt rly matter for wow but maybe for other games it might) it has a rly good quality build and its price isnt bad for what its offering. Here is an example of a panel that is affected by bleeding:

Also wow is a pretty colourfull game, and the ips will suite you perfect, i love mine, the colour amaze me everytime i play.

I would not recommend the cheap LG IPS monitors. Their anti-glare finish is often fairly rough and grainy and can produce slight "color sparkle". At least that was the case about 2 years ago when i still worked in computer retail.

As the others said, Dell has amongst the best affordable IPS monitors, so you can't go wrong with them.
Why do something simple, when there is a complicated way?

Could always paint it black. :P

Other than your preference for an all black option the U2414H is pretty solid(I have the P2414H, doesn't have HDMI) other wise.

To be honest, you won't really notice the bleeding 99% of the time in actual use. So it's not that big of a flaw.
Internet forums are more for circlejerking (patting each other on the back) than actual discussion (exchange and analysis of information and points of view). Took me long enough to realise ...
