In regards of the recent buff to chi ex, how far is it from serenity ST wise ? Is it worth taking serenity if my gear is haste oriented as we will mainly focus on aoe/cleave gear ?

I personally quite like 41% haste/60% crit (buffed). When oceanic servers become located in Australia I might pursue 50% haste/crit but with ~200-220ms these values are best. Also for the Dwarves/Taurens (Tauren myself) I would suspect crit value to be closer again to haste but maybe that's something Hina can figure out more...mathematically haha.
Crit damage bonuses will gain value the more crit you have since more of your damage will be coming from crits.
To model it a bit if you have 50% crit an average of 66% of your damage will come from crits. At this number the average gain for being dwarf/tauren will equate to 1.33% total damage increase. Obviously this number's value will fluctuate depending on which hits crit (auto crits gain less total numeric value than FoF/RsK crits for example) but the damage gains will be come steadily more reliable as your crit chance increases.

Sorry, I got confused with your explanation.
To pull out the points that aren't clear to me:
Any passive movespeed buff stacks with everything (boots, cloak, static auras etc), but you are only given the largest active movespeed buff you have at any one point in time?
Our passive 10% movespeed aura is considered permanent for us, but not other players? ie, if me and a warlock get naked, and I tigers lust us one at a time, I will get 10% + 70% boost, while the warlock will only get the 70%?
The aura is considered temporary for everyone because it could also just be given by another WW and has a range limitation.
There are passive speed stats, temporary self speed boosts, and then temporary not-just-you speed boosts.
Tiger's Lust and the movespeed aura are both in the "not-just-you" category and thus do not stack because for any given other player they could have your aura and you could Tiger's Lust them, but the Tiger's Lust would overwrite the aura and it would only be 70%. The same rule that applies to anyone else applies to you as well, despite that fact that the aura isn't "temporary" for the WW themself, it's sitll in that category because it's that way for everyone else.
Hmm, so that means tigers lust / momentum effectively got 10% point nerfs in value compared to celerity?
Although tiger's lust on a distant target is unaffected I guess.
Thanks for the clarification
I have a few questions. I'm possibly switching from Hunter main to Windwalker main and there isn't a lot of Windwalker sources.
1. What is the opener as of now? I'm currently doing this:
2 Chi on pull (I know I should start with 4 but sometimes there is random AFKs and I really don't feel like spamming expel harm for an hour and a half)
Tiger Palm
Jab
Rising Sun Kick
Jab
Fists of Fury
Regular Rotation
I know I should be using Chi Brew in between as well.
2. Is it ever optimal to use Tigereye Brew before you get 10 stacks (like if one of my trinkets procs at 6-9 stacks)?
3. Should I use Energizing Brew whenever I'm starved for haste or should I stack it with Tigereye Brew?
4. Do I ever want to save Fists of Fury for Tigereye or Procs?
5. Do I pop Xuen on pull or the first time I use Tigereye Brew?
6. Is 4pc worth it?

We were short on people this week so I was swapping from Healer to my Hunter (geared up the butthole) to my Monk. Any advice would be great. :)
1. Pretty much right on. Lots of people would tell you to let yourself energy cap a bit to use those early Chi Brews so you can get off a decent TEB with both trinket procs up
2. Always use your TEB when trinkets are proc'd. Otherwise try and sit on the stacks till you get one. Unless you are going to cap or the boss has some downtime or high damage phase where you would want to use/hold TEB.
3. You want to use it when you won't waste any of the energy it generates. If you can use it to GCD cap you without energy waste during TEB even better.
4. Use FoF on CD
5. On the pull. He inherits your AP and gets no benefit from TEB
6. 4pc is pretty close to 2pc+3WF but you need to play around it. Basically either set up works.
As a side note remember to pop a Chi Wave as you are running in to get an extra cast of it off, and to fit double chi brew in your opener. I generally open with only 2 chi for this purpose. My opener generally will look something like Chi Wave -> FSK -> Tiger Palm -> Jab -> RsK -> Chi Brew/BoK -> Chi Brew/TeB/FoF. This not only gets all of my minor cds on cd right away, but on average the 2 extra globals before FoF ensure that both AoC and Haromms are procd for a 6-10 TeB double trinket FoF. Your Chi Wave will also come off cd during the uptime of your first TeB if you open this way. Minor things, but those Chi Brew macros made my opener slightly stronger usually just by streamlining everything.
Can someone explain touch of karma for me? Just leveled a monk from scratch and I'm confused how the ability works if someone can clarify.
Does it make you immune to damage by redirecting all damage you take to your target for the 10 second duration?
Does it only do 50% of your health in damage total, or can you say make it do more than that over the duration if you take huge chunks of damage right from the start?
Awesome, thanks. Quick follow-up question then, does the following (can import with AMR, the option works now) look about right, then?
Or did you mean after the ~45-50%ish make haste=Crit? Looking at your armoury it seems like that rather than stack haste.Code:MainHandDps 14.15 Agility 7.00 AttackPower 6.35 Multistrike 4.00 Haste < 20% 3.70 CriticalStrike < 50% 3.60 Haste 20% + 3.50 Mastery 1.35 CriticalStrike 50% + 1.20 MovementSpeed 0.10

You know this isn't true, and if we stay the same at 100 we'll be one of the top single target on top of great AoE. Hope this was a "jab" at humor. :/About The Class
As a class, Windwalkers are a melee DPS specializing in AE and doing mediocre-to-terrible single-target damage.
No race choices like we have in every other guide, I know there isn't a huge difference, but would be nice to see what sims are putting the races at.
