Vermont's Gubernatorial Debate Last Night Was Very, Very Special

A communist, a hippy, a conspiracy theorist walk into a bar... Sounds like the start of a lame joke right? What if the bar was the race for governor in the state of Vermont? A series of peculiar characters had an amusing debate on television while attempting to persuade the viewers to vote for them in the upcoming elections. LOL I though Florida was crazy.

They were mostly discussing conspiracy theories about Zionist government, aluminum particles left behind by military planes, and public bathrooms, can anyone be taken seriously? At least the socialist guy tried to argue for a valid socialist idea which is free education, but he had no math whatsoever so all of them basically made a joke out of themselves in television.

It's almost as though the whole point was to demonstrate to voters than only candidates with (R) or (D) after their names should be taken seriously...

The once-significant language of an earlier era has had the meaning sucked right out of it, the better to serve as camouflage for a kleptocratic feeding frenzy in which both establishment parties participate with equal abandon" (Taking a break from the criminal, incompetent liars at the NSA, to bring you the above political observation, from The Archdruid Report.)

Looking through the list I'm reminded of that Moon-Yokel on the second episode of Futurama.

    Anyway...Good Luck Vermont!!!

This sounds like it is better than anything on television. WTB Netflix series.

Ben and Jerry are backing Bernie Peters

    They made Bernie Peters Pistachio

Vermont is the place were the town council is actually the whole town and they vote by a show of hands.
