I'm 638 ilvl and am only pulling about 11-14k dps and I can't figure out how to improve my damage this is the first time i've had a problem like this, i've gone through parses and compared them to my own, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah either lookup the guide here on MMO-champion or check out icy-veins guide (I personally feel like the icy-veins guide is quite a lot more detailed than the one here on MMO-champ)

Hello fellow locks!

Destro is a spec that I can play with my eyes closed, it feels great! However, a part of me has always wanted to 'master' demo the way i 'master' destro. To aim at something realistic, i've been doing some research on the fights where demo seems to shine. Tectus is, from checking the logs, an amazing fight for Demo.

Now this weekend i'll try and get myself used to the rotation and some ins- and outs regarding demo from icy veins/forums. But there isn't any specific info on which talent to use or which glyphs.
I can imagine that Dem. Serv. is pretty decent on Tectus. As the Doomlord will keep on casting when I will have to move. I've read somewhere that someone liked Cata alot aswell. I understand it can be nice on the last couple of shards. In 'phase one' it might get a bit tricky to land cata on 3 targets. So i'm not sure if this talent would be the right pic. And then ofcourse demonbolt. Which could also be nice i guess.

So yea, what talents/glyphs (wild imps?) are a must to shine on that fight?

For starters your dots uptime is really low. You need to shoot for as close to 100% as you can get. Basically you want to use meta for doom and 4 straight demonbolts. Use mc procs in caster form. I didnt have a chance to loot at anything other than the dot up time at the moment but it would bring up your dps.

Yea I replaced affdots with a weakauras string i found on these forums and i found it easier to track my dots. For some reason it seems like affdots doesn't work anymore. I'll have to wait until tuesday when I raid again to see if anything changes but hopefully it makes a difference, idk how i missed this when going through my guilds parses. Thank you for pointing this out to me

Here's my log from yesterdays Twin Orgons fight NHC.. I feel like for my gear I'm kinda underperforming.
I try to not get any damage within the blaze phase therefore this might be a huge lack of dps. Overall I am not sure to "waste" an ember for an unbuffed CB with havoc.. although Havoc should be used on CD - but is it worth casting when you only do conflag/inc?
I am also not quite sure if it's recommended to double immolate both bosses without crit proccs..

New warlock raider looking for some help in improving my DPS.

Points of note:
a) Received the neck at the very end of the raid (was using a ilvl 630 heroic neck with Haste/Mastery),
b) Vilebreath Mask (used on Tectus + Twins). I was using Crown of Flame (or w/e the Rag helm is called, sorry I don't have exact name on me as I'm typing it!).
c) On Butcher fight, we messed up the pull because of DK Army, so I could not use a 2nd pot during hero @ end.

I feel that I'm pulling ~ 2k or so lower than my optimal dps, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I'm trying to get a few more Crit/Mastery items, but haven't had much luck. Yes, trinkets too.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi,this is what i noticed

1) Your Immolate is 55.78% thats very bad you should keep it around 100%!
2) Dont waste Backdraft stacks for casting Chaos Bolts
3) And try to cast more Incinerates

Hey there, I am relatively new to maining a lock. i have some times that i shine in fights, but most the time i feel my dps is lacking. i guess my main question is there seems to be a big debate on DS vrs SB:Haunt. is there a haste "break point" where SB:Haunt becomes better, i know its better on any cleave fight. but in single target is it competitive/better.

Does anyone have any idea what to go for in regards to stats?

Pawn is giving me one set of stat weights for Destruction Warlocks while AskMrRobot is entirely disagreeing. It is my understanding that Mastery and Crit are roughly equal but how far behind is Haste and Multistrike ?

Imho, crit is an absolute leader, Brusalk said about it + it was confirmed by many logs and personal experience of many warlocks. On the second hand lies mastery/multistrike. I heard that mastery is far better on aoe or cleave fights while multistrike dominatkes on pure single target ( like Butcher ). Just now haste is the worst stat for destruction, even versality a bit better than it.

Hey guys,

I've been trying my very best to contribute in the new Higmaul raids, but feels like I could and should be doing a lot better. First of all, I am a new WoW player, only been playing WoW for a couple weeks. This means I'm a newbie, and new to not only Warlock, but the game in general. I however don't feel that it's an excuse to perform worse than you should.

That being said, there is no other Warlock in my guild, or anyone who has actively played him for me to ask for advice. Therefor my post in this topic in order to ask for help about my gameplay and results.

I feel like I'm consistently underperforming in my role, I'm always near the bottom of teh DPS on damage meters.
I've played around with specs and talents and am making slow progress, but it's too slow. Kargath mythic I can do really well on it seems thanks to havoc, but other fights I just can't pull the same as other, despite KNOWING i should be able to.

Hi guys. We have a Warlock dps in our guild (Penirino) who did some Imperator attempts with us today. However he felt that his dps was too low and left the group.

Hello, i'm at an ivl of 642 and feel that my dps could be improved.

Currently running destro with GoSup and DeServ, and the maximum i've been pulling is around 20k which feels relatively low to me...

*could have done much better at the butcher kill, but someone pulled before the countdown so there wasn't time to prepot/do a proper starting rotation

I'm also running unglyphed dark soul, should I be glyping it?

I feel that i'm rushing to get all my 2-3 chaos bolts off in the 10secs window and sometimes there isn't enough time.

I'm the warlock Euphanicen. My single target sim for a 300 second patchwerk fight at the time (i've gotten some upgrades since) was 22.2k. I think I'm reasonably close considering its not a perfect-no-movement-fight. I definitely think I have room for improvement. Additionally I'm confused as to why warlocks in the top progression guilds are all playing affliction for this fight as aff always seems to be ~5% behind demonology or destruction for single target dps. Insight on this is appreciated.

For some reason I feel my DPS on Heroic Mar'gok is much lower than it should be. Are there any glaring reasons for this? Am I hitting rotations wrong? Using the wrong glyphs? I'm using DS glyph and Havoc glyph. Am I moving too frequently?
