<Deicide> is currently recruiting for mythic raids. We raid 3 nights a week (Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday - 8:30 to 11:30 server) and are currently 7/7 H Highmaul, 1/7 Mythic Highmaul.
CLASS NEEDS AS OF (01/06/2015)
We are looking for:
1 or 2 ranged DPS:
Warlock Shadowpriest
Moonkin
1 or 2 melee DPS:
Feral druid
WW Monk
DK
1 Healer:
Resto Druid, Resto Shaman, or Mistweaver Monk.
Any and/or all of the above would be preferable!
We are always looking for exceptional players to improve our roster. If you are such a player, please apply regardless of posted class needs. Please do not apply if you're a DPS that can't even beat the tank's DPS. Seriously?
ABOUT DEICIDE
Deicide recently moved to Zul'Jin due to the dying population of our old server. Previously, we were the guild Exodus, on the US realm Shadow Council. The guild was founded in February of 2006, and was one of the oldest guilds on the server. Throughout 2006-2013 the guild focused primarily on highly competitive raiding, pursuing 25-man content with a demanding 5-night schedule. Exodus has successfully earned a multitude of server firsts during this time, and consistently ranked among the worlds top in progression. Some of the guild's more notable achievements included: Celestial Defender, Grand Crusader, and A Tribute to Insanity. As of 2013, the guild has adopted a less strenuous approach to the game, and currently focuses on raiding content with a 3-night schedule.
OUR EXPECTATIONS
At Deicide we pride ourselves for our friendly and social atmosphere, while maintaining a goal-oriented raiding environment. Once raid begins we expect raiders to be focused and prepared, this includes prepping for boss fights, minimizing absences/afks, and bringing plenty of consumables. We value skill, dedication, discipline, and shun immature asshattery and elitism. In an effort to maintain raid cohesion and keep turnover to a minimum, we are looking for mature long-term players.
LOOT
To minimize loot bias, we utilize a god loot council system based on facts and numbers. All loot and attendance is publicly tracked on our custom-designed website, which enables us to compare player stats while looting. This allows more flexibility than traditional DKP systems, while maintaining the open and unbiased nature of checks and balances. Priority is naturally placed on serving guild progression, but a great effort is made to keep the system fair. Loot discussion, complaints, and questions are welcome and can be directed to a designated loot officer.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous raiding experience.
- The ability to identify what gear gives the best benefit(Min/Max). Raiders would be expected to know what gear they are going to request if they see it drop.
- Stable schedule and ability to attend every raid day.
- Experience with addons such as Deadly Boss Mods (other class-specific addons may also be required).
- Mumble voice chat client installed.
- Stable internet connection and a reliable computer (frequent periods of high latency, graphic issues, or crashing is not acceptable).
- Ability to handle constructive criticism and be a team player.
- The easily offended need not apply. Have thick skin! It is the internet, need not take every thing personal.

RAID SCHEDULE
Deicide raids 8:30 to 11:30 Server (7:30 to 10:30 Central) for Wednesday and Thursday. On Sundays 7:30 to 11:30 Server (6:30 to 10:30 Central). Raiders are expected to attend every raid or post in the scheduling forum in advance of absences. At Deicide we understand real life happens, our philosophy has always been RL > WoW. We therefore do not have a defined attendance cut-off, so long as absences are rare and within reason.

I would like to add that We are mostly made up of members that have raided together for many years and try to keep a very adult oriented guild. You could say that the members here are made up of very old school gamers some of us have known others from as far back as Everquest and Ultima Online. We want to welcome more people to our long history.
We are looking for members that will stick around for years to come and grow as a team, while we take raiding as serious as anyone else (if not more seriously than most) we prefer to do it with friends. If you are the type of raider that just joins a guild to get loot we are most likely not the guild you are looking for. It is not uncommon after a very hard raid for everyone to stick around in mumble after hours and chat, we are a very tight-knit group who shuns cliques.

Don't be a scrub and join a guild that raids more hours than us, but wastes all those hours on the same !@#$ boss cus their leadership is too narrow minded or inefficient in their strat/time/management.
Save time, make results, more time in life to do other stuff.
