[Mage][All specs] What's everyone DPS on the 90 dummy?

I should have said all *mage* specs in the title. But oh well xD feel free.

I'm curious what everyones been able to pull self buffed on the 90 dummy in the vale.

Something like,

Spec:Frost
Burst: 26k-30k
Sustained: 14k
End result DPS/damage done after 4-5mins: 14.1k 5-6m damage done.

Also list the 75 and 90 talents.

Frost bomb/Mirror images on that.

fire is tough to test because its always going to cleave onto the second dummy in shrine. are you using a different? but as fire im bursting 45-50, sustaining 21-24k unbuffed but with the passive cleave. running rune/Unstable magic.

There is no 90 dummy that doesn't give off cleave :/

frowntown - population me. i think its a stupid oversight we cant use the raid dummies. but fire seems to be significatly out performing frost and is still stronger than arcane for 6.0 even though its much closer

dummy dps is kinda pointless, just run a sim if you want to see patchwerk dps or malkorok.

Not really interested in what the sims say. More curious about what the individual is able to do, not a simulator. And since the dummies are available to all, I can compare myself and others in the environment since it'll be the same for all. xD

Not really, since you're not taking the gear or the buffs into account.

The numbers flying around all over the forum aren't necessarily relevant for you. For example, OP has 584 ilvl gear - that's a big difference compared to your 549.

In a real raid I'm doing 20-23k

Doing 24-25k as Fire, 20-22k as Arcane (different gear sets though) and around 17k as frost.
Fire: Blast Wave - IF
Arcane: Supernova - IF
Frost: Frost Bomb - MI

I have the feeling that using the bomb talents with IF is pretty damn great, as you can tie them with the IF peak!

How are you tying in Blast Wave into your rotation? I tried using it and it felt so damn clunky. Is it similar to SN where we just pop it on CD and/or trinket procs or do we need to wait for something else?

Perfect use would be on IF peak and during a trinket proc. However that might not always be possible. Concerning the CD just don't cap. If you have to delay for 24 seconds it doesn't matter, as long as your charges don't cap.
