Even if that wasn't slightly exaggerated, which it is, that's still a 66% faster kill - which is nuts.

Most bosses were being killed noticeably faster (garrosh exception) on wednesday, most of the raid has received 30-50% health nerfs on top. This is after the organic nerf that item upgrades was originally (easily 15%)
Garrosh in 570-575 with none of the nerfs, compared to now?
Deathwing at 0%, compared to 35% 5.0?

I would argue again that the other X.0 patches gutted content almost as much still. As someone noted people were pugging Sunwell when 3.0 hit, M'uru went from the hardest fight in the game to one of the easiest (Pop lust and kill him without doing a single mechanic). This isn't anything new. Someone like Lich King was mostly annoying if you were bad because you still would wipe from a poor defile, there just don't happen to be those kinds of raid wipe mechanics in most of siege.

Bah. We had Garrosh almost down before the patch. Suffered from lots of people disconnecting on patch day, so we didn't get very far. By the time we got back to Garrosh, he was absolutely trivialised. Pity.
What boss is that exactly? The only fights post-6.0 that have even remotely comparable kill times to pre-6.0 are the ones where Warlocks were completely broken pre-6.0, such as Fallen Protectors and Dark Shamans, and fights that literally operate on timers and will not go faster (Galakras). On average, everything post-6.0 is being killed in half the time it took pre-6.0.

Sub 2 minute kills were not typical for any guild pre-5.4. It often required significant class stacking, and only worked on a limited number of fights. Now though? You can easily pull it off with a PUG in Mythic SoO on several different fights, including several new ones that were impossible pre-6.0.
Edit: Hilariously, Immerseus post-6.0 actually takes *longer* by around 33%.
Our awful alt group that has half the people under 555 killed H Seigecrafter in 1:43 yesterday. That woulda been a record kill pre 6.0 by a full minute.
We're just doing multiple clears from now on in hopes to get everyone their mounts. Casual 2 day/week guild that only killed H Garrosh twice before 6.0.
10/14H pre patch and went in with 13 guildies and 7 pugs to Klaxxi (we nicked a save) wiped about 7 or 8 times on paragons and were 2mil of phase 4 on the 2nd pull on garrosh before calling it a night.

Was (barely) 10/14 with generally not being able to do malk/spoils half the time with the weaker players as a social guild.
First week we killed 14/14 (most bosses seemed slightly easier but fair on wednesday before the extra nerfs) - garrosh took a few tries as noone had seen malice before (and forgotten how to do adds)
Second week it's 1 night farm content, at least 2 extra guildies will get their free juggernaught on wednesday before WoD.
SoO had already been out for well over a year before the patch. There was a lot of crappy players who would never been able to get a end-boss mount that has it now due to that, so why suddenly remove it now and not in WoD? Garrosh was already really easy before the patch with the gear upgrades and ilvl of the groups killing him.
Stop complaining and let people have some fun in SoO. If there wasn't a mount we'd probably not see as many runs.
