Why do you automatically exclude fire? Why couldn't it be still fire? They try to adjust the numbers so that all specs and classes are on par. Nobody said that fire has to be lower than the other specs now just because arcane is untouched and frost buffed.

Frost >= Arcane > Fire

I honestly think as fire you can beat the other 2 specs at 90 atm. At this high level of crit, it's hard to beat fire even with the 20% nerf

I just tested fire, whereas I did 17.9k on a dummy pre-hotfix I am doing 14.3k now, so it's not that much of a nerf.

Well, so you are doing a 20% less of your pre-hotfix damage. I think is a considerable nerf.

Fire was OP. It received a nerf
Arcane was in a good place. remained unchanged
Frost was shit. It received at buff.

Frost was overbuffed and on the "latest Simcrafts" it's abit too far ahead.
Arcane suffers by movement. Fire either needs ton of Crit or t17 4set.

Fire and Arcane are pretty close. Frost just got abit too far ahead, but it will be tuned back down. Fire does bollocks damage on AoE. Like wauw.

And my mind really needs to think cohesively.

Is this hotfix live on EU realms? i've been testing on the dummies and I can't really feel a significant difference between yesterday and today, just a very, very slight one (maybe 1-2k dps), however I really doubt that this is legit, based on the numbers I read in the notes.

2k dps is a lot if you have been doing like 10-12k before.

Simcraft has the 3 mage specs at the top. Frost > Arcane > Fire for now it seems.

I was doing like 19-21k yesterday, and I still do 18-20k today which does not exactly reflect a 20% nerf, does it?
