[H][Kil'jaeden]<Conceit> - Weekend Mythic Raiding Guild Recruiting DPS and Healers

Hi, we’re <Conceit>, a new guild on Kil’jaeden. We’re a group of returning players for the new expansion, looking to form a weekend mythic raiding squad.

About Us

The returning members here started raiding together in ICC, where we became friends. For most of us, it was our first hardcore raiding experience, but we loved it. Together, we cleared almost all of heroic ICC and got our Glory achievements. At the end of the expansion, we decided to break off and move to horde side to form our own guild, <Conceit> on Crushridge. It was a 10 man heroic raiding guild, where we were 9/13 in the first tier of Cataclysm on heroic and 7/7 H Firelands (top 100 US) on a 9 hour per week schedule. Shortly thereafter, many of us found real life commitments took priority, and many of us had to give up heroic raiding in favor of jobs and family.

All of us have been playing WoW on and off since then: raiding casually, doing PVP, and all of us have kept in contact, even playing other games together often. We’ve finally caught the bug again, and want to attempt to create a place in the game where we can raid and be competitive on the weekend and still have time for everything else.

If you want to join a group that’s more than just people who happen to raid together, and you want to put forth the effort required to clear content quickly in a guild who runs relatively short hours per raid week, this is the place for you!

Requirements

You should be able to make all raid nights, since it’s only twice a week. The occasional “shit happens” night is fine, just realize that it severely restricts our progress because effectively our progression time is cut by 50%.

A working microphone and access to (free) voice communication programs.

The ability to research both your class and encounters found in the raids. There’s no excuse for not knowing what’s going on anymore. Even if you don’t understand the methods to theorycraft, you should know what’s best in which situations. The same goes for encounters. You should go into the fights with a basic knowledge of boss abilities. We shouldn’t have to explain to you what a certain debuff does.

The ability to push your character beyond the ordinary. We’re a competitive bunch, and we like other competitive players. You should be striving to hit your maximum DPS while completing encounter mechanics at all times.

Schedule

Our raid times will be Saturday and Sunday, from 10PM-1AM. During the rest of the week, we’ll likely be doing things like challenge modes and PvP, but those aren’t required, just for extra fun.

Class Needs

Any and all DPS specs (I don’t care about spec as long as the raid stays balanced)
Healers - High priority on Druid Priest and Shaman, but if you’re good, class won’t matter as of now.
