    [H] Rampage - Hellscream ◄7/7N 6/7H►

    Hello! Welcome to the thread, expressing interest of the team within Rampages community, in order to help hasten our efforts to find additional people to share pursuit of the following

    Whilst we are undoubtedly unheard of and unknown right now our aim is to establish strong foundations that will enable us to work through mythic content in it's prime, clearing it long before major content nerfs arrive. After my own long break from Siege of Orgimmars overly lengthy duration, I have returned to the game to prepare for the expansion, with friends and old guild members to set these foundations. With this in mind, we still require additional progressive minded players that would also enjoy binging on the game once the expansion arrives.
    Whilst we hope to take pride ourselves again on having a community that is attentive to getting as much progression as we can for the time that we put in, planning to achieve a lot of progression compared to guilds that have a 3 day schedule
    [For the purpose of satisfying extra-keen players an extra Saturday raid will be there for either progression pushing or a relaxed alt raid].

    Even though we have our attention on progression and our raiding team consists of people who want to succeed with our goals, we have a philosophy that time playing the game should be fun and fulfilling in the moment as often as possible. What better way to do that then have an effective team to back you up and let you experience the game without stumbling for long on basic and intermediate mechanics for what might be, at times not the best reasons as a lot of the guilds that lack preparation do.

    Rampages team dates back as friends and guild members through other MMO's and games. (Primarily FF14, Guild wars, Aion, Rift, Diablo) The FF14 progression guild we created, Error MXVII still stands after being formed spontaneously after forming throughout the grape vine of in-game recruitment. We hope to again, claim a decent spot and establish a reputation as one of the best guilds on the server, the occasional name gets back to us after breaking away from FF14, saying that they want to join for Draenor's content.

    Recruitment status

    Not seeking tanks
    Ranged Dps -> Yes please!
    Meele Dps -> Yes please!
    Healers -> Yes please!

    Simply put we want some good players to pave our team along with those we have already, who have a passion for progressive raiding, we'll knit you in if your one that can fit. We do have requirements to join, but as long as you are interested in our goals and have a good grasp upon the game and your class, and strive to improve then you should meet our requirements.
    A lot of our players are also interested in PvP, team building might occur for that purpose later on with plenty of players that might want to crack some skulls in the arena as well. As long as the enthusiasm towards raiding is there, even if we manage to only get wiping on a top tier encounter for hours you should fit in well.

    Contact

    My battle net ~ Yondime2106
    You can also contact ~ Xoriyia2784 or Antumbra2308 instead of me if I am offline or afk. Now you know a summary of who we are, what we want and our goals and targets then let's get right to the point. If you like what you have read and think you could be an asset to us by applying yourself, or even if you would like to join us socially then feel free to whisper me in game when you have some spare time in order for us to consider if we want to consider you as an asset to our team. I will reply to questions here as soon as I can if any arrive.

    Please note that we are currently in the process of forming. We are not raiding as a guild now, our focus is preparation to kick off when raids open in Draenor. Some members are not yet within the in-game guild, and a handful are not yet transferred or subscribed. When it rains, it will pour though. Guild utilities that we require will appear as well
    [Website and forums, that will have more details, Q&A and a more formal application process for team replenishment]. We have a large, good quality VoIP server available, and will be opening it up for other members that want to use it.

    Good stuff, here the broken down details to what we're about.

    Goals

    Our focus is on establishing a position where we can be competitive in the future and provide an enhanced, unforgettable raiding experience whilst working through the content Draenor has to offer.

    Once we establish fully, we will always be seeking to improve the guild. Our core belief is creating a friendly and fun atmosphere where people will enjoy playing in order to become successful with our progression.

    Goal and values will stand strong and remain the same, even if our people and environment change over time. We're hoping to start with a strong core of determined members and officers ready for the expansion.

    We may consider assistance with management if we get any well demonstrated offers to help alleviate our effort in the fields of running of Rampages team. What we can offer is not limited to the chance to raid with some brilliant people who love raiding just as much as you. We are proud of the effort that our members put in previously, as well as the effort that we are putting in to get off the ground. Effort and attention will go into handing those that contact us, as well as applications in the future. We expect any of those contacts, or applicants to provide a good effort standard to demonstrate who they are to us. We're seeking like-minded people that are respectful and can hold their own against challenge. Who will be able to fit into a core consists of outstanding, knowledgeable players who are seeking to improve not only themselves, but other players around them.

    Want to know what is necessary from our raiders?

    1.) You must be an active player and be capable of maintaining regular attendance. Our events are dependant on almost every individual. You should be able to manage to attend nearly every event, except for one or two each month if you have a birthday or event or something. [Events and emergencies on short notice that cannot be dealt with will not be held against members in overall attendance but be prepared to inform us of the absence as early as you can, especially if the absence will cover more then a week for a holiday. We require all applicants to prepare enough time to prepare for raid opening times in the expansion.

    2.) We want players who are interested in our community as a whole, if you plan to only log in for raids then we are probably not going to be a good home for you. Interacting within the guild team speak server and forums will help you with every aspect of being within the guild, additionally everyone gets to know each other much better and therefore we are more of a community and less of a turn up at 20:00 and log off at 23:00 guild for example. Outside of raids we tend to spend a lot of our time on teamspeak.

    3.) You must understand that raiding is highly dependent on class balance and we may need to bench players in the rare occasion when challenging content is pursued. Everyone we take into the raiding team will get a decent amount of raiding time, but we can't guarantee that everybody will be raiding 100% of the time. Whilst we tend to be dependant and rely on members for consistent attendance, we expect you to understand that any management decisions on this topic will be with the guilds best interests at heart, when the guild succeeds with progression it's because of every active member, not just those in the raiding group. A few of our players may offer to stream during the raid if any benched players wish to take notes from it.

    4.) You should be friendly and uphold a positive attitude. If you can't discuss raid strategy, composition or the performance of a player without being respectful then we're probably not for you. Every applicant, raider and officer is required to uphold a good standard of teamwork and treat each other with mutual respect.

    5.) You must have a reasonably stable computer and internet connection, additionally there must be no issues related to paying for your account and internet connection.

    6.) Rampage will be an adult guild. If you have an enforced bed time or you could potentially restricted from playing often then we aren't the place for you.

    7.) If you often struggle to control overwhelming emotions from in game issues (Tactics, errors, tool distribution, benching, set-up Etc) and you feel you need to repeatedly mention them so many times that it gets silly then we're probably not the place for you. We try and give every player the attention that they deserve and we know it's essential to have feedback about leadership, performance and strategies but we have no use for players that complain continually whilst not contributing towards solving the problem.

    8.) You must have no issues with being on Team speak 3 during raids. Due to the large scale of content we may need players to communicate quickly and clearly with the raid/group leader, everybody needs to react to the raid leaders instructions. We understand that many people are not comfortable speaking over a game, however we do ask that you have a mic prepared for in case. More often then not just listening will be suitable for us to complete content effectively.

    Our manifesto

    1.) Everyone who wears our tag represents the guild as a whole, we expect members to treat those outside the guild with a level of respect and tolerance. We have a zero tolerance for drama and hope that we can pride ourselves on being drama free for a long time to come. We expect nobody to repeatedly sweat over small things, if there has been a dispute then those involved can sit down and explain the problem to us.

    2.) If you have a suggestion during a raid, whisper an officer or save it for after the raid. Don't try and do your own thing all the time in raids and certainly do not contradict the raid leader on voice communication. If you do this mid fight then it will probably cause confusion and a wipe, even if what you said is right and the raid leader is wrong.

    3.) Joking around is fair, but when we need to put our attention into a trash pack or boss then we expect people to be able to shift there focus towards the event. Especially if we are not fully aware of what it can do.

    Motivation and skill

    1.) All players should have fun, quite a basic fact as you're paying to play the game and the guild is going to be here to enhance this. If you don't enjoy the game or your role then mention it to an officer, we can try to help or consider if we could switch you to a position that you would find more fun. If you simply just plan to stop playing once we start then please let us know so that the impact is as minor as possible.

    2.) We also expect raiding members to play enough to know their role quite well, being aware of major class changes in the expansion for team mates. Utilization of every support ability or personal cooldown is a significant factor that will separate wipes from kills. If you've orientated around support skills and the raid requires them then don't try and nuke something down, we want people who help their team mates out and keep them alive.

    3.) Be eager to learn and share. We expect members to ask and offer help as everyone will be at a different stage of learning. If you number crunch and test theories to find out what works best, there is a good chance that you will meet players that you could tutor. Sharing expertise with fellow guild members will earn you a lot more respect then just being the player that won the parses.

    4.) Have a good quality of playing, we don't want morons that don't understand the concepts of the game. We understand there is a difference between being new players and being the person who can't run out of the explosions thinking that they only need to deal damage. We don't want that last type, but new players are more then welcome to inquire about joining.

    Raiding times and attendance

    1.) We hope to be able to depend on our raiders at a later stage and expect every recruit to be dependable. It's expected that you inform one of the battletags Yondime2106, Xoriyia2784, Antumbra2308
    if you plan not to be present for any long duration after you contact us. We understand that certain events can not be foreseen. If you think that a change in circumstances may be problematic then let us know so that we can adjust anything that we need to.

    2.) Our planned raiding days are Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday. During progression we will use saturday as well, although this depends if people show up wanting to raid, if we fall short we will do some relaxed alt character raids. Times go from 20:00 until 23:00 server time (7pm -> 10pm GMT). A short break will be designated within the second hour of each raid.

    Breakdown of classes we are looking for

    Death knight ~ Only Dps please!
    Druid ~ [Kitty -> open][Owl -> Yes please!][Restoration -> Yes please!]
    Hunter ~ [Yes please!]
    Mage ~ Open
    Monk ~ [Windwalker -> Yes please!][Mistweaver -> Yes please!]

    Priest ~ Only shadow please!
    Rogue ~ [Yes please!]
    Shaman ~ [All specs -> Yes please]
    Warlock ~ [Yes please!]
    Warrior ~ Open

    Recruitment will be much more limited, by the time WoD is out, recruits will be expected to transfer to us before then if we are to consider you as an asset, following that you will need to be an asset to keep your position.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    That's all the immediate details we stand by posted, kudos if you read it all and are considering contact us then dam well do! I look forward to hearing from you.
    Hello everyone,
    This is a quick update on how things are going to go in the upcoming raids.
    As you might have noticed we are now at a point where we will have a solid raid group for every raid. This has some great upsides(Best set-up's, competitive play etc). I would like to inform people of the downside of this; we're going to have to bench people for Mythic progression. We will be taking the strongest players, this means the players who can put out the most dps/healing and do the best at following tactics and avoiding 'bad' stuff. This does not mean that you are by default a bad player or are horrible at avoiding stuff when we do bench you. It can also simply mean that you don't fit in the best possible set-up for this particular fight. We will always remember who we have benched on a certain fight to make sure that that person can join in the next time we kill it, to make sure everyone gets their kill. With this message I would like to encourage everyone to do their best and look up if there is any way to improve your dps/healing and/or find ways to make it easier for you to follow the tactics properly and avoid 'bad' stuff.
    If there are any complaints about being benched, for example you do not agree with who we benched and think it should be better to have a different person in instead of someone who is already in. Any complaints can be directed towards Tiggér or Kyhoria.
    We will still be recruiting for certain roles to get to the point where we've got a great group for every different encounter.
    Recruitment information
    Druid - Melee DPS and Ranged DPS
    Mage - Ranged DPS
    Monk - Healer
    Paladin - Healer
    Priest - Ranged DPS
    Shaman - Healer
    Warlock - Ranged DPS
    We are especially looking for healers.
    As always - Exceptional players are always welcome to apply.
