No wonder the UK seems a go-to country when it comes for locations where dystopian future books/movies play
This man was convicted for thought crime, I feel for him

It's not really so much a thought crime when it shows minors depicted in art having sexual relations with men though, is it?
I agree it's silly to jail, or rather threaten to jail people (He received a suspended sentence) but the Judge seemingly was acting upon his own moral guideline that these images normalize the potential abuse of children.
And, if i had to push myself, i'd agree with him in part; They're incredibly distasteful to me, but i respect that so far they're "Legal", this ruling seemingly challenges that.
How do they prove the pictures were of underage girls and not just asians?
I think it's pretty bad when it's drawings/animated to be sentenced for it. I'd rather see pedophiles have a way of outlet through drawings/animated stuff than to actual pictures or videos of kids being abused.
"he had been physically attacked since the allegations were publicised, he said"
Ah, good old Middlesbrough. If you're are even remotely different from the common populace you'll be beaten for it!
It's been illegal here for a significant amount of time, he should have known.
UK pls stop
Think of the lolis
Reading through the article, this guy seems to be more of a victim to crusading judges.
If the judges can start ruling with theese kind of reasons then i dont know anymore.
He added: “This is material that clearly society and the public can well do without. Its danger is that it obviously portrays sexual activity with children, and the more it’s portrayed, the more the ill-disposed may think it’s acceptable.”
He gave Hoque a nine-month prison sentence suspended for two years. He said anything that encouraged child abuse, including word of mouth, drawings or artistic impressions, was to be “actively discouraged”.
What i read in that statement from the judge is that because of an extremely small ammount of people that cant control their urges it has to be banned. What is the next thing? drawing weapons banned too? Drawing animals because they are like not wearing stuff and could be seen as sexual to some?
Now you may not agree with me but seriously this is not a direction i find healthy at all, especially when he goes with "the more ill-disposed people" as his argument.
