Just a fair warning I hope that anyone stupid enough to have a gun as a costume piece makes sure it looks nothing like a real gun and has orange paint or something on it.

I havn't read thru this thread but I know my nephew has dressed up before with guns and it got me thinking about the kids that get shot by cops because they couldn't tell the difference between airsoft and real.

Just stay safe and dont let a fun night turn tragic.

Really refreshing post and discussion...no seriously.

    My sides have bursted.

Nope. I used to dress up and it was fun, but now I just enjoy being boring.
    Stay salty my friends.

If I do go out for Halloween my own normal clothes combined with my face is good enough for people to think I am some sort of casually dressed Frankenstein's Monster.

I dress up every year to hand out candy. Usually that just means eating the candy.

Sadly, here in Poland, we don't celebrate Halloween. However I saw few pumkins on a windowsill two days ago.

There will be sloots to bang, that's for sure. I'm sort of in the middle at the moment, halloween is on a Friday night, so that opens up many more opportunities.

Yup we have a massive Halloween party every year. Spend 2 weeks carving pumpkins and redoing the entire house as ghoul central..

    Going this year as:

Last year I was this guy

Won't be dressing up, halloween isn't really something we celebrate here.
Though each year it gets more and more widespread, especially among younger children.

Besides, if I was going to dress up. I would want to put an effort into it, not just buy some cheap crap at the store.

My cousin is one of the few people I know who celebrates halloween, and always did. But then again she has her birthday on halloween, and would always have halloween themed parties.

I have to work. Also, kids only trick-or-treat in a few areas of this town, and I've never seen any even try to come to my house.

Probably not. I might wear something really simple or half-assed like a costume hat or skeleton gloves or something, but I usually don't go too far with costumes.
