Faded Chaos (http://www.fadedchaos.com), on US-Lightbringer, is currently seeking individuals who share similar competitive progression goals and views as us and seek to be part of a semi-hardcore raiding team.
Current regular schedule is:
7:30p-10:30p PST
8:30p-11:30p MST
9:30p-12:30p CST
10:30p-1:30a EST
On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday weekly
When new raid content is released, we will be looking to put in a 2-3 week effort of "front-loading" to give us a gear and time-based competitive edge.
Current Needs
We are primarily looking for a few highly experienced players that are comfortable playing a CLASS and not just a spec.
Tanks: Exceptional tank with a robust raiding history at a high level and is comfortable playing multiple tank classes. Melee DPS: Death Knight, Rogue, Enhancement Shaman (With Ele OS) and Monk. Healers: Priest (Must be strong in both Disc and Holy) and Shaman (with an Elemental off-spec). Range DPS: Warlock and Boomkin (Be able to play a resto OS).
With the above stated, we are more interested in the player than a specific class/role. If you are willing to re-roll for the guild and/or are exceptional in a given class we need please contact us.
Front-loading
This is the act of putting in extra effort, in the form of additional hours/days or a combination of both, at the release of new raid content to be more competitive, learn the mechanics when they are the hardest and achieve earlier kills, period.
The degree of additional time will be based on the majority of player availability around the time new content is scheduled to release and will be scheduled in advance.
Currently we are putting in an extra hour on each raid night along with 1-2 extra days of raiding for roughly a 2-3 week period when the new content is released and running 1 raid. This may change in the future to where we run 2 raids, splitting mains and geared alts between each raid, in order to funnel gear to our mains during the first week of heroic. This will allow our mains to accrue more gear the first week and give us a bigger advantage going into mythic the second week of content.
The formula is pretty standard and is used by many top ranking guilds in order to remain competitive and achieve earlier progression.
Progression goals
Each player on the raid team must have a 'raid progression first' mentality to their in-game efforts and activities.
Front-loading will be a standard part of our competitive efforts.
Success will be measured on our wowprogress (or similar sites) rankings each tier, looking to improve from tier to tier.
Foster an open and collaborative environment to quickly identify and learn new mechanics to speed up progression.
Utilize all available tools (raid logs, Death Note, class-sites and guides, etc) to review your own and others performance in an on-going basis in order to objectively identify areas for improvement and assist in improving yourself along with the team as a whole.
Leadership / Merger Info
Leadership advancement is possible as we are still looking for some help with recruitment, role lead duties and possibly raid leading for the right individuals. In order to obtain a leadership role you must first pass the trial period with flying colors and share the same progression goals with myself.

Still LFM, need exceptional tanks with a lengthy heroic/mythic raiding history. Ideal tanks will have 2-3 tanks they play and be very familiar with the tanking meta-game instead of just 1 class.

9/10 Normal BRF also, have yet to try blackhand but will probably be spending the next couple nights before reset on heroic or going back into mythic highmaul!!
We are now 10/10N BRF and 9/10 H BRF with progression on clearing up Mythic HM in the process. Come raid with really cool people who like to kill Bosses and we have CAKE!!
