I think you're misunderstanding Leeching Poison.

Once your target has been poisoned. All strikes versus them 'leech'.

Rather Multistrikes leech or not is beyond me as I'd never used it for anything but soloing old content.

In my very limited, probably unscientific testing, my combat log did not indicate that Leeching Poison heals off multistrike procs. Testing on a lvl 90 dummy as Sub (with Haromm's) after skydiving off my mount, using only Backstab and auto-attacks, Leeching Poison was proc'ing off melee attacks and Backstab but not the multistrike versions (and I had quite a few). I was in a hurry so this was only a couple minutes of testing, it's possible that I just had really, really, really bad RNG (I counted at least 20 or so melee attack/Backstab multistrikes in this time).
